GetResponse vs Builderall: What Are the Main Differences
GetResponse is primarily an email marketing software that offers a range of features such as email automation, an autoresponder features, and email templates.
The platform is designed with email in mind first and foremost. To this end, GetResponse aims to help businesses create and manage effective email marketing campaigns and email marketing offers.
However, that being said, GetResponse has evolved into somewhat of an all-in-one tool since it now offers additional features like landing pages, sales funnel templates, list building funnels, and webinars.
On the other hand, Builderall is an all-in-one digital marketing platform straight out of the gate. It provides tools for creating complete sales funnels, landing pages, evergreen webinars, SMS messaging, WhatsApp messaging, quizzes, a course creation platform, video hosting, and a ton more features.
And, to put it in direct competition with GetResponse, Builderall also has its own built-in email marketing platform.
While both GetResponse and Builderall offer powerful features like automation and a suite of email marketing tools, their focus and capabilities differ.
By now, you probably already realise that GetResponse excels in email marketing. It offers a user-friendly interface and a wide range of email templates and email features to choose from.
On the other hand, Builderall focus is more geared towards creating online sales funnels and landing pages, but it also has email capability too.
One draw of Builderall is that it offers a mobile-first drag-and-drop builder or interface. This makes it easy for users with limited technical skills to create visually appealing and high-converting pages.
Builderall also includes many other features (see below) like webinars, chatbots, a course creation platform and more, which can further enhance its offering above pretty much anyone else in the marketplace.
What Is Builderall Designed For
Builderall is a powerful digital marketing platform designed to meet give you all the tools you need under one roof.
Out of all the Builderall features, the key tools are the website builder, the funnel and landing page builder, the eLearning course creation platform, the webinar feature, chatbots, and MailingBoss, which is their built-in autoresponder.
In my opinion, all the other tools, while they’re nice to have, are periphery to these tools.
After using the platform myself, what I particularly like about it is how easy it is to use (once you’ve learned your way around, of course). Even those with limited technical skills can create professional-looking pages in a matter of minutes with Builderall.
Talking about the MailingBoss feature, while it may not exceed GetResponse’s email marketing power and level of sophistication, Builderall email tool still allows you to create email sequences or automations, use autoresponders and send broadcast emails to your subscribers.
Because of this, Builderall can help you to save a lot of money otherwise needed for third-party tools.
What Is GetResponse Designed For
GetResponse is a versatile, state-of-the-art email marketing solution, and is my email platform of choice. I have been using GetResponse for my own business marketing needs for several years, and I particularly like how easy it is to use and set up an array of marketing automations.
As I previously mentioned, GetResponse also offers several other features and tools that a lot of other autoresponder companies don’t offer.
With GetResponse, you can easily create and send professional-looking emails, automate your campaigns, and analyze the performance of your emails to make data-driven decisions.
One of the key strengths of GetResponse is its deliverability rate. In case you don’t know, deliverability is the platform’s ability to reach the recipient’s inbox without being flagged as spam. This is crucial for the success of your email marketing campaigns.
In addition to its strong deliverability, GetResponse also offers a variety of advanced features to enhance your email marketing efforts.
You can create personalized emails using the drag-and-drop email editor, segment your subscribers to send targeted messages, and even set up automated workflows to nurture leads and engage with your audience.
Builderall Main Features
One of the main reasons why entrepreneurs choose Builderall is because of its comprehensive range of features. Builderall goes way beyond just landing page creation and offers a full-range digital marketing solution.
Builderall actually has over 50 different tools and features. However, here are the main features of the platform:
Website Builder
When I first got inside the Builderall platform, building a website was one of the first features I tested.
What I particularly like about this feature is its ability to produce pages and websites that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also optimized for performance.
Yep, with Builderall you also get access to several SEO tools to help improve the search performance of your website.
Coupled with WordPress, Builderall’s website builder is one of the best around. Builderall have also gone to extra lengths to ensure their websites load fast too. This can considerably improve the user experience of your website, and also further help you to rank in search engines like Google.
What I don’t like so much about this feature is the initial learning curve for complete beginners. Having said that, it’s a darn sight easier to learn than WordPress!
Funnel Builder (Previously Known as the Cheetah Builder)
One feature of Builderall that deserves special attention is the Builderall Funnel Builder, which was previously known as the Builderall Cheetah Builder.
The Builderall Funnel Builder is not just any ordinary tool; it’s an intuitive platform designed to craft, manage, and edit sales funnels with ease.
What I particularly like about Builderall’s all-in-one sales funnel builder is its intuitive design, allowing users to build, manage, and edit sales funnels using a customizable blueprint. This means that even if you’re not a tech guru, you can still craft a compelling sales journey for your audience.
However, where this feature could be improved is in offering more pre-designed templates tailored for specific industries.
While the current offerings are robust, having a wider variety might cater to a broader audience. That being said, the Funnel Builder can be used by anyone to create any kind of funnel from scratch.
So, templates aside, users can still create a funnel and match it to their specific industry and brand.
eLearning (Course Creation Platform)
Another popular Builderall feature among users is the eLearning course creation tool. This feature is a dynamic tool designed for both beginners and advanced users.
What I particularly like about this feature is its modern and intuitive presentation style. This design approach not only enhances the user experience but also increases the perceived value of the courses, making them more appealing to potential learners.
having said that, personally, I think the course platform navigation could be improved. But that’s just my opinion from personal experience using the tool.
Also, offering more flexibility in terms of design and interactivity could cater to a broader range of course creators.
That being said, this is a feature that GetResponse does not have. So, if you are planning to build and launch a course, then choose Builderall here.
Webinars
Webinars is a feature that both Builderall and GetResponse offer. However, what I particularly like about Builderall’s webinar feature is its ability to integrate seamlessly with platforms like Facebook and YouTube.
This means that users can host live sessions, be it for selling high-value items or delivering courses, while leveraging the vast audiences of these platforms.
However, where this feature lacks is in its customization options. While the current setup is quite user-friendly, offering more flexibility in terms of design, interactivity, and engagement tools could cater to a broader range of webinar hosts with varying needs.
That being said, the Builderall webinar tools is easy to use, and it has several great features to help you engage your audience and convert them into paying customers.
MailingBoss (For Email Marketing)
Builderall’s MailingBoss is a feature that caught my attention when I first delved into the platform’s suite of tools.
Designed for email marketing, this tool aims to simplify the process of capturing leads and sending out campaigns.
When I tested this feature, I particularly liked the advanced automation options it offers, allowing businesses to scale their efforts efficiently.
While these automation options are not, of course, as advanced as GetResponse’s, they are pretty decent for an all-in-one tool.
However, where this feature could be improved is in its user interface.
While functional, a more intuitive design could make the experience smoother for users, especially those new to email marketing.
What I don’t like so much about this tool is the initial setup process. When I first used this tool, I found that navigating through the various options took a bit of time to get accustomed to.
Overall though, the MailingBoss feature is pretty solid.
WordPress
Builderall’s integration with WordPress is a feature that truly stands out for those familiar with the popular CMS.
When I first used this tool, I found that it seamlessly bridges the gap between Builderall’s robust suite of marketing tools and the flexibility of WordPress.
What I particularly like about this feature is its ability to combine the best of both worlds: the vast ecosystem of WordPress plugins and themes with Builderall’s advanced marketing capabilities.
When I tested this feature, I particularly liked the speed and responsiveness it brought to WordPress sites, but I also noticed that there might be a slight learning curve for those not familiar with Builderall or WordPress.
Here are the other features that come with Builderall:
- Ecommerce
- Booking App
- Video Hosting
- Chatbots
- Website Heat Maps
- Quiz Builder
- Sitebot
- Social Autopost App
- SMS Messaging
- WhatsApp Messaging
- CRM
- Social Proof Pop-Up
- Project Management Platform
- Affiliate Management
- Unlimited Subdomains
You can see a full list of the Builderall features here.
GetResponse Main Features
GetResponse is first and foremost one of the cheapest email marketing platforms. In fact, they are one of the best email marketing software companies in the business.
However, over the years, GetResponse has also morphed into more of an all-in-one tool.
Here are the main features of GetResponse:
GetResponse Email Marketing
When it comes to the email marketing field, GetResponse’s Email Marketing feature is a powerhouse for businesses aiming to connect with their audience effectively and convert leads into customers via email.
When I first used this tool, I was immediately impressed by its comprehensive suite of functionalities tailored to make email campaigns more impactful.
Personally, I especially like the user-friendly drag-and-drop email creator, which makes crafting and sending out emails a breeze, even for those who might not be tech-savvy.
I also particularly like the advanced segmentation options that GetResponse has. This is one of the reasons that I continue to use GetResponse in my business. It allows for more personalized and targeted campaigns and ensures that the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
On the flip side, where GetResponse could be improved is in its dashboard navigation. There’s so much in here that new users can get a little lost.
Conversion Funnels
GetResponse’s Conversion Funnels feature is a great addition to its suite of tools.
When I first tested out this tool, I must say I was impressed by its ability to map out the entire sales process, from lead capture to final sale, all within a single platform.
The Conversion Funnel feature offers a pleasing, visual representation of the funnel, allowing users to identify potential bottlenecks and optimize accordingly, which is helpful.
That said, while the Conversion Funnels feature is pretty good, it can’t compare to Builderall’s funnel builder in terms of flexibility and advanced functionalities.
When I first used this tool, I found that, though comprehensive, it does lack some of the more advanced features and customizations that Builderall offers.
Landing Pages
GetResponse’s Landing Pages feature is also a nice addition to the platform. If you need a basic landing page, then you won’t have to spend extra money on an external software provider here.
GetResponse’s drag-and-drop page builder is straightforward, and easy to use, making great for beginners and technophobes.
I find the drag-and-drop functionality particularly easy to work with, and actually quite enjoyable.
It also has decent A/B testing capability. This allows users to test different versions of their unlimited landing pages to determine which one resonates most with their audience, ensuring optimal conversion rates.
That said, while the landing page editor is commendable, it can’t quite match the prowess of Builderall’s funnel builder in terms of depth and flexibility.
Webinars
GetResponse’s Webinars feature offers seamless integration with the rest of the GetResponse platform, making the transition from email campaigns to live sessions incredibly smooth.
What I particularly like about the webinar funnel feature is its ability to engage participants with interactive polls, chats, and screen sharing. This is great because it enhances the overall webinar experience for both you and your webinar attendees.
The webinar feature inside of GetResponse also offers good analytics. This is great because it can provide you with insightful data on attendee behavior, allowing hosts to refine their content and presentation style for future sessions.
In my opinion, GetResponse’s webinar feature is on a par with Builderall’s webinar tool. Both platforms offer robust webinar funnel functionalities, ensuring that users can host impactful and engaging webinars.
Website Builder
I first used the GetResponse Website Builder tool, I must say that, being a WordPress user, I wasn’t going to be impressed. However, I was pleasantly surprised.
The intuitive drag-and-drop editor makes the build process easy and quite enjoyable. This will be music to the ears of technophobes and no-nonsense folks who just want to get their website built quickly.
I also especially like the AI wizard feature inside the Website Builder. Based on some provided information, it can generate a website in just a few minutes. This is a boon for those who want a professional-looking site without delving into the intricacies of web design.
All that being said, while GetResponse’s Code-Free Website Builder feature is pretty good, it can’t compare to Builderall’s Website Builder tool in terms of sheer versatility and depth of customization options.
For those seeking a more comprehensive website-building experience, Builderall might have the edge.
Here are the other features that come with GetResponse:
- Form Builders and Pop-Ups
- Ecommerce Tools
- Paid Ads
- Chats
- Web Push Notifications
