SamCart Courses App Features

I’m now going to go into more detail on the features you get with SamCart’s new courses app below.

If you want more info on all the additional features SamCart has to offer besides the courses app, then you can take a look at my full SamCart review here.

Sales Page Templates

To get people into your course members area you’re first going to need to set up an enticing sales page.

SamCart has a whole host of sales page templates in their template library for you to choose from. They’re pretty much ready to go.

All you need to do is make a few changes to the headline and text areas and add your logo.

However, if you want to make more changes then the templates are fully customizable with the drag-and-drop page builder. This gives you the flexibility to change images, colors, fonts, add video, add countdown timers, testimonials, FAQs, and even restructure the layout if you wish. It’s pretty flexible.

The checkout area makes it easy for your customers to purchase by giving your customers multiple payment options.

Course Cross-Sells

Course cross-sells is a powerful feature that can significantly increase your revenue.

With this feature, you can showcase your other courses and digital products to your existing students inside their member’s area.

The cross-sell feature makes it quick and easy for your students to buy additional products from you.

Since SamCart will remember your students’ payment details on your behalf, your students will be able to make more purchases without needing to find their credit card and punch in the digits.

Nope, with just a few simple clicks they can buy more of your stuff.

Unfortunately, this feature is not available on the Launch Plan, but you can access it on SamCart Grow and SamCart Scale Plan.

Auto-Enroll Technology

Auto-Enroll Technology is a clever little feature that drops your students right into their member’s area once they’ve made a purchase.

This might not sound like a big deal, but did you know that on average, course owners lose around 30% of their students even after they’ve paid for the course. This is because people get frustrated waiting on passwords to be emailed to them, or technical issues occur meaning the student doesn’t receive the login details at all.

That doesn’t reflect well on the business owner and can lead to complaints to deal with from unhappy students.

If you choose SamCart for your online course platform, you won’t have to worry about any of this.

Featured Courses

Featured Courses tie in nicely with the cross-sell feature as it lets you display your other courses in students’ member’s areas.

This way you can let your members know what other digital products you have without being pushy. And if you have cross-selling enabled, your students can buy more products from you quickly with just a few clicks.

SamCart Courses App Demo Video

Below is a demo video showing this new courses app in action.

How The SamCart Courses App Works

According to SamCart, their courses app is so easy to use, that they reckon you can get your course set up and ready to launch in under 2 minutes.

While I haven’t put that to the test yet, below are the steps you need to take to get your course business set up using SamCart’s suite of marketing tools.

Set Up Your Course

The first step is to set up your course area. This will be the member’s area that your students will get access to once they’ve purchased your course.

Fortunately, SamCart has already taken care of all the technical stuff including design and layout. All you need to do is upload your assets. It’s basically plug-n-play.

If your course is believed by video then you can upload them all into the member’s area and set them out as you wish. You can also upload images, text, audio files, worksheets, and downloadable assets for your students to access.

Another feature that I particularly like about the SamCart course builder app is the ability to use quizzes. You can choose to use them at strategic places within your students’ journey through your content.

While you can use them as a testing aid to further help your students learn your material, you can also use quizzes to lead them to other products you own that might further help your students.

Pick a Sales Page Template

Once your member’s area is set up and you’ve uploaded your content, the next step is to set up your sales page.

SamCart also makes this part simple as they have pre-designed templates that are ready for you to use. These templates have been specially designed by experts to turn visitors into customers.

If you’re in a hurry then you can just make a few simple changes to headlines, and text, add your logo, and maybe upload a sales video if you wish and you’re good to go. If you want to further customize the template then you can do that too.

The checkout templates allow you to offer payment flexibility to your customers through a variety of payment processors including Apple and Google Pay.

Once you’ve got your sales page ready, SamCart shows you how to connect it to your member’s area with a few clicks.

Start Enrolling New Students

At this point, you can start enrolling students into your course.

However, if you want to maximize the amount of revenue you can make from your courses then you’ll want to set up the Featured Courses and Cross-Sell features mentioned above.

These advanced tools can really go a long way to helping you earn more money from your existing students while further helping them through your material.
