Content Marketing For Traffic And Sales – by Daniel Daines-Hutt
Just like the title says, Content Marketing For Traffic and Sales not only teaches you how to generate more traffic with your content, it also teaches you the psychological principles that move people to take action and result in more sales for you.
When pro copywriters write ads, they often convert like crazy. However, when you turn those ads off, the sales dry up. In this book, Daniel cleverly teaches you how to use these same principles the master copywriters use to make it rain, and apply them to your blog and email content.
Being able to create content that attracts and moves people is not an easy thing to do. However, there is a science behind it that you can learn.
In this book, Daniel walks you through the exact same content marketing strategy that he uses in his business. You will learn the 3 part method to writing content that highly appeals to your audience, put your sales on autopilot, and adds scale it up with traffic.
Daniel also claims that by following his method you won’t need to write as much content. The reason is that content is written with this method often goes viral and gets shared like crazy on the internet. When this happens, the traffic and sales keep coming, and Google gives you more kudos as a result of the engagement you’re getting.
In my opinion, this book is a must-have for all content marketers and affiliate SEOs.

Making Your Website Work: 100 Copy & Design Tweaks for Smart Business Owners – by Gill Andrews
I’m sure you, like me, have come across a lot of websites that just look terrible. Well, there are also websites that look great, but they just don’t convert very well. Unfortunately, if the design is getting in the way of your copy, then it can destroy your sales.
This book is a bit different from the others in this article in that it doesn’t teach you about the copywriting formulas to apply to your content.
Instead, it teaches you how to spot errors in your copy and quickly fix them, and how to come across as more trustworthy to your audience without using testimonials.
Besides this, the book also teaches you practical tips you can apply to your website to improve the layout and overall usability which can lead to more sales. This part is actually really important. For example, knowing exactly where you need to place your call-to-action buttons can increase your click-through rate considerably.
If you’re currently at the stage where you manage your website yourself then this book can be especially helpful for you. It will help you to craft a better message, and at the same time help you to recognize if the design of your website is getting in the way of your message.
