In my opinion, this book is great for new and intermediate marketers and copywriters. It is well-written and annotated well with helpful and fun pictures.
In this book, Jim covers 31 different “copywriting secrets” that can be applied to all kinds of copy you may need to create. From blog content to sales letters, video sales letters, ad copy, and email newsletters, Jim’s book is a well-rounded resource for the modern-day marketer.
Jim breaks down each of the 31 techniques into easy to read chapters. He hones in on exactly what you need to know to apply the techniques to your own business and start getting results.
If you’re a blogger then there’s a lot in here that will apply to you. From how to write captivating headlines, to structuring content, to getting people to take action.

I’m sure you, like me, have come across a lot of websites that just look terrible. Well, there are also websites that look great, but they just don’t convert very well. Unfortunately, if the design is getting in the way of your copy, then it can destroy your sales.
This book is a bit different from the others in this article in that it doesn’t teach you about the copywriting formulas to apply to your content.
Instead, it teaches you how to spot errors in your copy and quickly fix them, and how to come across more trustworthy to your audience without using testimonials.
Besides this, the book also teaches you practical tips you can apply to your website to improve the layout and overall usability that can lead to more sales. This part is actually really important. There is an absolute ton of copywriting resources out there, so much so that it’s hard not to get overwhelmed. That’s why I wanted to put together a more concise list of what I think are some of the best copywriting books for beginners.
If you’re lazy like me, and you don’t want to spend your life learning how to be a professional copywriter then you can also use copywriting software like Funnel Scripts to write your copy.
