Best High Ticket Affiliate Programs

A man pulling money out of the computer from the best high ticket affiliate programs

If you’ve been promoting low ticket affiliate offers and struggling to bring in a decent paycheck each month then it’s time to start getting into promoting high ticket affiliate programs.

A lot of affiliates shy away from jumping into high ticket promotion, usually because they think it’ll be too difficult to move those kinds of products, or they don’t have the experience to sell them.

I used to think this too, once upon a time.

The good news is, that’s just not true!

It doesn’t actually take that much more work or know-how to sell a high ticket product than it does to sell an ebook for $10.

Think about it for a moment…

If someone is actively looking to buy a product online that happens to cost a lot of money, they still have the intention to buy it at some point.

So, if they come across your website or landing page, then there’s just as much chance they’ll buy the product from you because they are actively looking for it.

Make sense?

Cool!

So, with that out of the way, here are some of the best high ticket affiliate programs that you can promote today and earn considerably high commissions with.

As I Find New High Ticket Affiliate Programs I Will Update This Article.

What Are The Best High Ticket Affiliate Programs?

Below are some of the most lucrative affiliate programs that you can promote in the entrepreneurship, business and marketing niche.

This is one of the most profitable niches you can get involved with.

There are, of course, high ticket offers in other niches too, but in this article we are just going to be looking at this niche for now.

Each of these products are high-quality, which is why they can command big ticket sales.

In this article you will learn useful info like the commission rates, and other pros and cons of promoting these offers.

GrooveFunnels

GrooveFunnels program

GrooveFunnels is one of the newer high ticket affiliate programs on the market. It launched towards the end of 2020, and has garnered lots of traction since.

To put this into perspective, GrooveFunnels, the new funnel-builder and landing page software program, is up against some pretty stiff competition. The number one competitor to Groove, at the time of writing this article is ClickFunnels.

ClickFunnels is massively popular and has been around since 2014. At the time of writing, ClickFunnels has somewhere around 125,000 users.

However, GrooveFunnels attracted more member sign-ups than ClickFunnels currently has during their beta and launch period.

This should give you an idea of how well this product converts.

A lot of those sign-ups were for Groove’s free account. However, you as the affiliate will still get paid once the user upgrades to a paid account, regardless of when that happens.

Now you’re probably asking, “so what % of people who sign up for a free account actually upgrade to a paid account?”

Good question.

The answer is roughly 10% of people.

I have been promoting GrooveFunnels for a few months now, and this has also been my experience.

So, for every 10 people who sign up for a free account, 1 will upgrade to a paid account.

Because of this, GrooveFunnels is also a great affiliate program for beginners. All you have to do is get people to sign up for a free account (which is pretty easy to do), and then it’s just a numbers game.

So, as an affiliate with GrooveFunnels, you can promote their software offering, which is basically an all-in-one business tool, similar to Kartra.

With it, users can build websites, sales funnels, host their videos, create members areas, host webinars, use the email marketing autoresponder, run an eCommerce business, and more. It is actually pretty awesome.

Can you tell I’m a fan of Groove?

However, what makes their affiliate program somewhat unique is the 2-tiered business model they operate. So, as an affiliate marketer you can earn two types of commissions.

If you’re a free Groove user then you can earn 20% recurring commissions on all front-end sales, and 5% recurring commissions on any user who signs up through an affiliate who joined under you.

If you are a paid user then your front-end commissions double to 40%, and you will receive 10% for all tier-2 sign-ups.

If you want more details on this then you can find out more about GrooveFunnels affiliate commissions here.

There are a few other affiliate programs out there like this, but I particularly like Groove’s affiliate program because it ticks all the boxes:

  • Good quality product
  • East to promote
  • You can earn lifetime, monthly recurring commissions on people who sign up for the monthly plan
  • You can earn high-ticket commissions ($558.80 per sale) on people who choose to sign up for the lifetime deal

So, with this program, you have the potential to earn some high-ticket commissions up front, while at the same time building up a nice recurring monthly income from other users who take the monthly plan.

If you like the concept of recurring payments dropping into your bank account each month then you may also want to read my article about affiliate programs with recurring commissions.

Pros:

  • Digital product easy to promote in the marketing niche
  • Can earn commissions as a free user
  • Potential for big commissions
  • Potential for recurring commissions
  • Second-tier commission system
  • Pays out weekly
  • PayPal or bank wire transfer payout options

Cons:

  • They currently only have one product you can promote
  • Some product features are still in beta

You can sign up for the Groove affiliate program here.

Legendary Marketer

Legendary Marketer affiliate program

The Legendary Marketer affiliate program is another great high ticket program you can promote in the digital marketing space.

Through this program you can promote a variety of business, and marketing courses, and blueprints.

Legendary Marketer is owned by a very well-known and respected guy in the space, David Sharpe. His products cover everything from branding to marketing, to sales and conversion strategies.

Legendary Marketer has products for complete beginners all the way up to people who are already experienced marketers.

As an affiliate you can promote any of their 4 front end offers. These range from $1 to $7 dollars, so it’s not a difficult sale to make on your part.

Each paying customer initially goes through Legendary’s 15-Day Challenge. On the 5th day, the customer is then offered with a high-ticket product, which is where you make your big commissions through Legendary.

And the commissions are sizable, between $1,000 – $2,850 per sale.

Unfortunately, Legendary Marketer is restricted in some countries so not everyone can sign up.

The other down side to this program is that if you want to have the opportunity to hear the higher commissions then you need to become a paid member at $30 per month. You can still promote Legendary for free, but you won’t then be able to earn the big bucks with this program.

In my opinion, if you’re going to promote this product then you’ll be better off if you take it seriously and actively put energy into promoting it on a regular basis. So if you’re doing this then it makes sense to become a paid member at $30 per month.

Having said this, as a paid affiliate your benefits are two-fold. You get access to tutorials and blueprints that can help you to promote LM as well as any other products that you’re in on. Secondly, you have the potential to earn up to 60%, which can add up to substantial sums.

Pros:

  • Very good online business courses
  • Very high commissions
  • Responsive support system
  • Great low-ticket front-end offers that are easy to promote
  • Earn big commissions on the back end
  • Decent product variety and upsells to push

Cons:

  • Higher commission levels are gated behind a premium membership
  • Has a strict vetting process
  • Not open to all countries

Amazing Selling Machine

Amazing Selling Machine affiliate program

Amazing Selling Machine is a highly successful marketing course that focuses on teaching users how to build an Amazon FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) business from scratch. In the course, people learn all kinds of skills such as finding products to sell, how to market them, and so on.

ASM is one of the most expensive marketing courses out there at $4,997. However, a high number of ASM customers get results with it, and the company recognizes successful students by name so other users can also see who’s getting a lot of success in the community.

Another plus point of the ASM is that it is updated regularly, and has currently had 12 revisions of the course. The owners want to make sure that ASM is teaching the most current and up to date info, so if you’re promoting it as an affiliate you can feel good knowing that you are bringing your audience the most relevant information.

Since it’s one of the most expensive courses around, the commission level is also one of the highest for this type of product, up to $2,392 per sale.

As attractive as that is, if you don’t know much about Amazon FBA and have had little or no experience with it then you’ll struggle to promote this product. Competition is fierce and many affiliates create a whole host of highly targeted bonuses that will appeal to the target audience.

With a commission of 40%, you can earn a lot with a single sale per month. Yet there is some serious competition here. ASM is probably the most popular training course in the world when it comes to the Amazon FBA niche.

There’s also the fact that this is just one product, and a very expensive one at that. Joining as an affiliate is easy enough. But it may take some skill to promote and convert people into customers.

Pros:

  • 40% commission that can increase to 50%
  • Can sell product or subscriptions
  • Popular training material, updated every year
  • Very simple affiliate application process

Cons:

  • Very niche course and audience
  • The cost of the program doesn’t include additional expenses for buyers

You can find out more about the ASM affiliate program here.

ClickFunnels

ClickFunnels program

ClickFunnels has been around for a while now and is one of the most lucrative affiliate platforms.

It offers a good variety of products with commissions of up to 40%. However, unlike other similar programs the commission system is a bit all over the place, so let’s take a look.

Old affiliates (anyone registered before Sept 2019) make 40% commissions on most products, and on the ClickFunnels software itself, they earn 40% recurring each month the customer renews their subscription.

However, since 2019 new affiliates start out at 20% and can only promote a handful of products, which does not include the ClickFunnels software suite itself. You can increase your percentage to 30% once you earn your first $1,000 in one month, and this will also unlock the ability for you to promote the ClickFunnels software and earn recurring commissions on those sales.

After that, you can ask for an increase to 40% once you get 40 active ClickFunnels users signed up under you.

Once you can start promoting the ClickFunnels software you’re eligible to enter the CF Dream Car Contest. Basically, once you have 100 active CF subscribers under you, CF will give you an additional $500 each month to pay for the lease on your dream car. Get 200 active subs and they double this to $1,000 per month.

Similar to Legendary Marketer, ClickFunnels also have a few low front-end offers which upsell on higher ticket items on the back end.

You can start out promoting their marketing books on a free + shipping model, for which you will earn a whopping $1 per sale. However, once someone has entered the funnel through your link they will then be presented with various upsell offers on the back end, of which you can earn sizable commissions up to $1,997 per sale.

One cool product to promote is the OFA Challenge, which is an intensive 30-day coaching program that people can sign up for for only $100.

As the affiliate you get 100% commission on the sale of this product, which is nice. On top of that, the OFA Challenge converts like crazy.

Besides that, CF also has a variety of other products and courses that you can earn nice commissions on, including one of my favourites to promote, Funnel Scripts, which earns you $297 per sale.

All in all, ClickFunnels remains one of the most lucrative programs. And despite not offering just percentage-based commissions, it’s still a high ticket affiliate program for beginners.

Pros:

  • Multiple products available to promote
  • Offers interesting rewards outside commissions
  • Potential to increase monthly recurring commissions
  • Very active affiliate community
  • Frequent affiliate promos
  • Commissions paid out fortnightly

Cons:

  • Not the best cookie tracking system in place
  • Not all of the digital products are popular

You can sign up for the ClickFunnels affiliate program here.

WPX Hosting

WPX Hosting referral program

WPX Hosting is one of the most popular hosting platforms in the world. It also offers one of the more accessible affiliate programs. Again, this is a somewhat niche product package.

If you have an audience that operate a business from a website then you may be able to entice them to switch hosting providers to WPX and earn upwards of $70 per sale.

Once you have referred 29 people, WPX up your commission to $85 per sale. Once you reach 100 referrals you’ll earn $100 per sale going forward.

It’s also worth noting that WPX Hosting counts all-time referrals. It doesn’t matter how many sales you make in one month or in one year. It’s the all-time amount that counts towards your bonus and commission increase.

When you sign up as an affiliate you get a variety of promotional tools such as banners, logos, and a few videos you can use to get the word out.

It’s a flat amount per sale, and not as high as some of the other programs on this page, yet a nice chunk of money nevertheless.

If you’re a newbie then the platform offers some tutorials to help you get started with affiliate marketing, but it’s not the most comprehensive advice.

Pros:

  • Exceptional hosting service to promote
  • Flat, but fairly high ticket commissions
  • Counts all-time sales towards bonuses
  • Offers sufficient promotional tools and access to analytics
  • It’s possible to create custom promo codes and banners
  • PayPal option available for payouts

Cons:

  • It’s not a cheap hosting platform for everyone
  • Will require a niche marketing strategy to earn consistently

You can learn more or sign up for the WPX Hosting program here.

Shopify

The Shopify referral program

It took a long time to really look at Shopify and figure out what makes it tick. Why is it such a popular ecommerce platform with vendors, and affiliate marketers alike. After some digging I found out that it’s a mid-range to high ticket affiliate program.

It’s clearly among the most reputable eCommerce platforms on the market. Many people know about the platform, which should also make it easier to promote. But with reputable recognition also comes more competition.

Now being a large brand, Shopify has a more in-depth application process for affiliates. We found the entry requirements themselves are easy to meet. However, you have to detail your plans of promoting the platform. You need to tell a story about yourself, your promotion plans, and go into detail about your audience.

Shopify wants to align itself with trusted affiliate marketers, not people looking to scam others. It takes their vetting team up to 15 days to review an application, so you’ll need to be patient after applying. Basically, it’s not guaranteed that you’ll become a partner with this program.

Once accepted, you can promote the Shopify platform, which allows users to start an  ecommerce business.

The platform pays $58 per month for a standard paid subscription, and it also pays $2,000 for a Plus program referral, which is pretty nice!

If you focus on the latter you can earn a lot for a single sale. Yet the passive recurring income from monthly commissions on subscriptions isn’t bad either and will add up over time.

Pros:

  • Very reputable eCommerce platform
  • High commission on merchant software
  • Recurring commissions on subscriptions
  • Tons of available promotional tools
  • Decent amount of affiliate marketing tutorials

Cons:

  • May be harder to join than other programs
  • Competitive niche and product

You can get more info or put in your application for the Shopify affiliate program here.

Affiliate Secrets 2.0

The Affiliate Secrets 2.0 course

Affiliate Secrets 2.0 is an end-to-end affiliate marketing course by one of the most successful people to build an affiliate business around ClickFunnels, Spencer Mecham. In fact, over the years Spencer has become the number one affiliate for ClickFunnels and has earned over $1,000,000 promoting this single product.

That’s pretty impressive!

As an affiliate you earn 50% in commission, which will bring you in $448 per sale. Affiliate Secrets 2.0 is a consistent and high ticket product that’s highly attractive to both newcomers and experienced affiliates looking to expand their skill set.

The information in the course is not unique. But the delivery is different and provides more than one strategy to build a successful affiliate business. If you choose to promote this course, your audience will definitely have something to learn from it.

It’s particularly useful information for someone that wants to build a business around ClickFunnels. So, one idea is to pair the two products together and promote them in unison.

The course costs $797, so it’s a lot cheaper than many others out there, and it can still bring in some nice money your way.

Pros:

  • Cheaper course than many others on the market
  • Earn $44 per sale
  • Super easy signup process
  • The owner is very known in the industry

Cons:

  • Lacks the promotional tools that other programs offer
  • Parts of the course may be slightly outdated

Best High Ticket Affiliate Programs – Final Thoughts

There are some great high ticket affiliate programs on this list that you can get involved with. Many of these programs offer a variety of ways to create your own passive revenue stream. But if we have to pick one winner, it’s probably GrooveFunnels.

GrooveFunnels is a good product to promote regardless if you’re a new affiliate or a seasoned veteran. You have the ability to make some high ticket sales as well as recurring monthly commissions. On top of this, you can also recruit other affiliates to promote Groove and earn an additional 5 or 10% commission on all their sales too.

You can sign up as a Groove affiliate here.

As a full-time affiliate myself, researching high ticket affiliate programs is something I do fairly frequently. As I do so, I will be updating and adding to this list over time, so I highly recommend you bookmark this page and check back frequently.

Have you had success promoting a high ticket offer that is not on this list? Let me know in the comments below.

Who Is Jim Edwards?

Picture of Jim Edwards

If you’re part of the ClickFunnels community in any way, either as an affiliate, or as s user of their marketing software, then you will definitely have heard of Jim Edwards.

For those of you who don’t know who this guy is, let me introduce him to you.

Jim Edwards is an experienced copywriter, and successful marketer who works closely with the ClickFunnels’ founder, Russell Brunson.

Jim joined the ClickFunnels team a few years ago when he partnered with Russell on a couple of products that are promoted within the ClickFunnels ecosystem.

Jim’s specialty is copywriting, but he’s also a master product creator, and affiliate marketer.

The Jim Edwards Method

The Jim Edwards Method is Jim’s own slant on copywriting, sales and marketing.

Jim devised his system through personal experience as a marketer and copywriter over the years.

In his early career he worked as a copywriter for a bank, but later found that he can make a lot more money writing copy for his own products which he sells online.

Jim’s had tremendous success both as an affiliate marketer and as a product owner so he’s got a lot to teach.

You can learn his methods through his courses and books. However, Jim also runs regular live webinar training sessions for ClickFunnels users, showing them how to build successful funnels with Russell Brunson on Funnel Fridays.

Besides that, Jim also runs a monthly live training webinar on copywriting that is free for the folks who have bought his Funnel Scripts software program.

Jim’s one of the few guys I pay attention to when it comes to copywriting. His emails are also some of the VERY FEW that I actually open and read since he offers a lot of great content for free to people who are subscribed to his list.

Jim’s also got a blog, which you can check out here.

Jim Edwards’ Copywriting Secrets Book

In 2019 Jim released a book called Copywriting Secrets. The book has been extremely successful with many thousands of copies sold across the world.

Jim cleverly marketed the book in partnership with ClickFunnels and offered it as a free book as long as people pay for the shipping and handling.

However, once you pay for the shipping, you then move through Jim’s book funnel where you are presented with several up-sell offers.

This is where Jim makes his money on the book.

So really, the book is a way to entice you into his funnel so he can then up-sell you on more expensive products.

This sounds sneaky, but it is a common marketing practice.

Jim’s products are actually really good, so I don’t mind taking a look at them.

As for the book, well, yes it is offered on a free plus shipping model, however, it does actually contain a lot of really great information that I would have happily paid for.

As a blogger and affiliate marketer, I particularly like how many of the techniques Jim shares in his copywriting book can also be applies to writing blog posts and promoting affiliate offers. The book even contains a whole chapter about how to use copywriting for blog posts.

If you want to know more about the book, or if you want to pick up a copy for yourself then you can read my review of Copywriting Secrets by Jim Edwards here.

Audiobook Upgrade

When you buy Copywriting Secrets, the first up-sell you will be offered is the audiobook version.

Some people can’t spare the time it takes to sit down and read a book long enough to get through it, while others just don’t like reading.

In either case, getting the audiobook will make sense. Personally, I like to listen to these kinds of audiobooks when I’m driving, out walking, or getting chores done around the house.

Funnel Scripts

Jim’s flagship product is his software application tool, Funnel Scripts.

Jim created Funnel Scripts a few years ago with his buddy, Russell Brunson. It’s basically an advanced software application that will write all of your sales copy for you.

It’s actually a really good tool, and it has applications to pretty much write any type of copy for you, including, email copy, sales copy, video sales letters, and headline generators, to name but a few.

If you want to know more about what it can do, you can check out my Funnel Scripts software review here.

Alternatively, you can also test out the free headline generator script here, or you can also read my article on the best 3 alternatives to Funnel Scripts.

Jim Edwards Wizards

Jim has several other software products, most of which revoke around copywriting.

Here are a lists of the software wizards that you can buy form Jim:

  • Easy Sales Copy Wizard
  • 3 Hour Kindle Book Wizard
  • Instant Sales Video Scripts
  • Podcast Interview Wizard
  • PPTX Wizard (creates PowerPoint presentations)
  • Desktop Ad Wizard
  • Automatic Marketing Wizard
  • Expert Interview Wizard
  • Custom Content Wizard

Besides these software programs and, of course, Funnel Scripts, Jim also has several courses available on his website. One of the most popular being his OFA Copy Hacks course.

This course is an accompaniment to the One Funnel Away Challenge. In the course, Jim guides students through the OFA Challenge to give them the best chance of success.

If you haven’t heard of the OFA Challenge before then I go into a lot of detail about it here in my One Funnel Away Challenge review.

If you’re in a hurry and you don’t have time to read my review now, it’s basically a complete training course that teaches you how to create your own product, set up your marketing funnel, and launch your business in 30 days.

Surprisingly, the course is only $100.

The OFA Challenge is run periodically, and you can check the next OFA start dates here.

Final Thoughts

If your copywriting skills are lacking, and you know this is an area of your marketing that you need to improve then you can do well listening to Jim’s advice.

I’d recommend starting with the Copywriting Secrets book since you only need to pay for shipping to get a copy.

Personally, I did find a lot of valuable information in the book, and it’s one I now dip into from time to time depending on what projects I’m working on.

If you like Jim’s material then you could also invest in some of his other products and courses. However, if copywriting is the main thing you need help with then I highly recommend just buy Funnel Scripts and forget the others for now.

If you want to see the software in action first, then you can also watch the free Funnel Scripts webinar before you make your decision to invest in the software.

Funnel Scripts will not only give you access to tools that will quickly create high-converting sales copy for you, you will also be able to attend Jim’s monthly live copywriting webinars too.

If you’re not totally sold on Jim’s stuff then you can also check out my other recommendations for best books on copywriting for beginners here.

Best Affiliate Programs For Beginners

Affiliate programs for beginners - man on a laptop looking at networks

If you’re just getting started with affiliate marketing then, of course, your journey will come with specific challenges.

Knowing exactly which are the best affiliate programs for beginners is one of those challenges.

Signing up for the wrong programs could cause a significant setback in your affiliate career.

However, if you get this right from the beginning then, not only can you start to earn your first commissions a lot sooner, it can also lay a solid foundation for your entire career.

I have worked with some great affiliate networks during my 8+ years in this game so far. But I have also signed up with one or two terrible ones and wasted time too.

In this article I am going to tell you about

8 Things That Make an Affiliate Program Good For Beginners

You might be wondering what exactly makes a network a good affiliate program for beginners to start with.

There are a few key things to look for. Here’s a breakdown for you:

  • Minimal entry requirements
  • Simple or no vetting process
  • Easy to use
  • Products with good commission %
  • Easy to promote products
  • Good product variety
  • Low payout threshold
  • Regular payouts

Choosing a network that fulfills all or most of the above will help you to get started and move in the right direction quickly.

Basically, what you want from a beginner-friendly network are things that will make your life easier. You want a good product range across multiple niches, and a simple to use platform.

Working with a network that also provides you with detailed and easy to use metrics is a huge plus.

If you can easily track which campaigns are working the best for you then you will not need to pay for a 3rd party tracking tool like ClickMagick, at least until later when you will want to access more advanced tracking features.

If you can clearly see which campaigns are working the best then you will be able to put more of your efforts into those areas and drop the ones that are not performing well.

Earning your first commissions is very exciting, but if you have to wait a long time to receive a payout, or if you need to reach a high minimum payment threshold then this can also become de-motivating for beginners.

So, because of this I would also recommend you to start working with a network that has a low payment threshold and pays out regularly.

It’s also important to know that some platforms prefer to work with, or only work with intermediate or advanced marketers. So don’t waste your time trying to sign up with those guys until you have some experience under your belt.

To help you get started quickly with the best chance of success, here are my top 6 affiliate programs for beginners.

Affiliate Networks Vs Private Programs

When you start promoting affiliate offers you will soon realise that you can either sign up to affiliate networks or apply directly to private affiliate programs, or both.

A network (like ClickBank, ShareASale etc, see below) is a place where you can go to sign up, and then get access to promote all kinds of different products across a range of niches that they offer.

If you join a private affiliate program then you need to go directly to the product website and sign up with them.

One of the biggest advantages of joining a network is that you get access to a wider range or products without needing to sign up for multiple affiliate accounts.

In many cases, if the network has approved you to join their affiliate program then you will often be approved automatically to promote most, if not all of the products on the network.

But not always.

With some networks, you will also need to apply to individual vendors on the network, as you will soon discover later on in this article.

So overall, joining a network is usually the best way to go for beginner affiliate marketers.

A common advantage of signing up to a private affiliate program that is not an any network is that often those programs can pay really good commissions.

But again, not always.

Next, I am going to tell you about the best affiliate networks for beginners.

After that, keep reading if you also want to know about some of the best stand-alone affiliate programs where even newbies can make really decent money.

Consider Your Traffic Source

Something that is often overlooked when it comes to choosing an affiliate program is which traffic source you will be using to drive the majority of your traffic.

Why is this important?

While you can promote most affiliate products on most platforms, some traffic sources like Pinterest will be especially good for certain products, but not good for others.

Pinterest is a very visual platform, so niches and products that have a strong visual component do especially well on this platform.

If you are thinking to use Pinterest as your main source of traffic then here are some great affiliate programs for Pinterest.

6 Best Affiliate Networks For Beginners

Here are my top 6 affiliate networks for beginners.

  • ClickBank
  • ShareASale
  • CommissionJunction
  • FlexOffers
  • Rakuten
  • Impact

ClickBank

The ClickBank homepage

With over 17 years in the business, ClickBank is a powerhouse for both novice and advanced affiliate marketers.

This network caters to smaller businesses and provides a wide range of products that are unique to the network.

Each product is listed with some performance metrics so you can get an idea of how well the products are selling. You can also take a look at the landing pages of the products and any promotional materials that they might have for you to use.

If you own a product and want to sell it on ClickBank then you’d sign up as a Vendor. However, by joining the network as an affiliate, you can then search the ClickBank marketplace and look through a huge range of products that have been added to the network by the vendors.

Another exciting aspect is that ClickBank specializes in digital products, such as eBooks, video courses, and some software. However, they now also have some physical products on their marketplace, including supplements.

Personally, I really like promoting digital products because the commission percentage is considerably higher than physical products, in most cases. This is because digital product owners do not have the margins to deal with that physical product owners have to allow for.

As an example, you will typically find the commission percentage that you will earn per sale for most digital products on ClickBank to be somewhere between 50-75%.

Having said this, I have personally earned as much as 90% per sale on some products. This is because the product owner then makes most of their money on the back-end sales.

That said, it can be quite the lucrative program.

There’s a minimum payment threshold of $10 on this network, and they pay out weekly, holding two weeks in arrears to allow for refunds.

ClickBank is an easy network to join with virtually no vetting process.

They basically accept everyone.

You don’t even need to show them you have a website to get started, unlike most affiliate programs you will come across. This is especially helpful for beginners who are looking to get started.

If you don’t have a website yet then here’s a strategy you can use to make money without a blog.

If there’s one downside to ClickBank, it’s the reputation of the products. Not all digital products are as well-known as some that you might find on other networks. Some are actually pretty terrible, however, I would say the majority of the products that I have seen on this network are good.

If you decide to use ClickBank, you will need to do a fair amount of research to find something easy for you to promote and sell.

However, with over six million products available on the platform, there certainly is plenty of opportunity here.

If you are new to affiliate marketing then I recommend you check out my comprehensive guide here on ClickBank for beginners. In this article, I give a step-by-step blueprint to start making money with ClickBank.

Sign-up URL: ClickBank

ClickBank Pros:

  • Low payment threshold
  • Good commission range
  • Simple joining process
  • No vetting process
  • Easy user interface
  • Weekly payouts

ClickBank Cons:

  • Not all products are high-quality or popular

ShareASale

The ShareaSale affiliate network

ShareASale is another great platform for both new and experienced affiliates and houses over 1,000 merchants that you can work with.

ShareASale provides a range of products that includes physical goods and digital products or services.

There is a simple vetting process when you join this network, and you will usually hear back within a few days if you’ve been accepted.

They are a little more strict than ClickBank, and they do want to see that you have at the very least some kind of website or landing page that looks good, and is relevant to at least one of the niches that ShareASale trade in.

That being said, you don’t need anything fancy, just something that doesn’t look shite.

It’s important to know that once you’re accepted onto the ShareASale network, that doesn’t mean that you will be able to promote any product you like.

Many product owners listed on ShareASale will pre-approve you to promote them if ShareASales has already accepted you. However, there are also many other products listed on this network that are not pre-approved.

In this case, you’ll need to reach out to those individual product owners through the ShareASale interface to request access to promote them. They will usually want to take a look at your website to make sure it’s a good fit, and then they will either accept or deny you.

If they deny you, don’t worry. Just search for other suitable products to promote on the ShareASale marketplace.

What I particularly like about ShareASale is that there are a number of very good, and even well-known brands on this network and quite a number of high-ticket affiliate offers too!

ShareASale also provides you with pretty good metrics so you can monitor how well your campaigns are going.

I also particularly like that, in most cases, ShareASale will show you which of your URL’s have referred each sale.

At the moment, ShareASale doesn’t support PayPal payments. This may inconvenience some users, however, there are a number of payment alternatives available, including direct bank transfer, so I really don’t think it’s a problem.

Sign-up URL: Shareasale

Shareasale Pros:

  • Low payment threshold
  • Minimal joining requirements
  • Some high-quality brands
  • Some high-ticket products
  • Detailed reports

Shareasale Cons:

  • No PayPal support
  • Commissions vary a lot

CommissionJunction

CommissionJunction program

CommisionJunction, also known as CJ Affiliate, started back in 2002. It’s a platform dedicated to working with big brand names.

You may recognize some of the companies that work with the network: Verizon, UnderArmor, Samsung, Sonos, Namecheap, etc.

If you want to start your affiliate marketing venture by targeting popular niches, CJ Affiliate is one of the top choices. However, if you’re thinking of going down this route then know you’ll likely be up against some stiff competition. If you already have an audience for these types of products then great.

If not then I’d recommend you to start with something easier.

CJ is not a difficult platform to join, and they usually seem to accept most affiliates. Having said this, you will also then need to apply to specific product vendors on the network, similar to ShareASale.

CJ offer the widest and most detailed amount of metrics that I have so far seen on an affiliate network.

While this should be a benefit to you, it’s rather complex and does actually have a learning curve all of its own, which I don’t think is very helpful for beginners.

CJ also caters to both pros and novice affiliates, so advanced users will benefit more from the superior metrics that they offer.

With that in mind, this network suits a specific type of beginner; those that already have some experience in this field. At least three months.

Sign-up URL: CommissionJunction

CJ Pros:

  • Direct display advertising
  • Limits the guesswork in finding merchants
  • Modern UI
  • A great portfolio of big-name brands

CJ Cons:

  • A number of low paying offers
  • Higher learning curve and payment threshold

FlexOffers

FlexOffers website

FlexOffers is a bit of an unusual one in that it signs up to the product owner’s affiliate programs and then Flex allows you to use its affiliate links to promote the products.

The up-side of this is that you only need to get approved by FlexOffers to be able to promote a lot of programs because FlexOffers will be doing all the signing up to individual merchants’ affiliate programs for you.

On the downside, however, in so doing, FlexOffers will take a cut of your affiliate commissions.

Basically, they act as the middle man between you and the product owner. This is not a bad thing if you’re a newbie affiliate marketer though so don’t let it put you off. Once you’re approved by FlexOffers you’ll have access to a wide range of products you can promote.

FlexOffers is also one of the largest networks out there, with over 12,000 product owners registered on their system.

Be aware that the signup process can be a bit lengthy. This is because they will essentially be allowing you to use their affiliate links, so they would be accountable for your actions. Because of this, they can be a bit picky when it comes to new affiliates.

It has a low payment threshold of $50, and pays out to affiliates on a monthly basis. It’s important to be aware though, that FlexOffers pays on a net 60 terms basis.

Basically, this means you’ll receive your commissions after a 60 day period. This is normal for most affiliate programs and is nothing to worry about. The network just needs to allow enough time to cover their back in case of refunds.

Granted, this payout process isn’t as sweet as some of the other networks, but still, it isn’t bad.

Sign-up URL: FlexOffers

FlexOffers Pros:

  • Provides a lot of assistance
  • Beginner-specific program available
  • Decent product range
  • Easy-to-use platform

FlexOffers Cons:

  • Lower than average commissions

Rakuten

Rakuten is not usually the first one most people think of when it comes to affiliate programs. However, it’s one of the biggest players in the industry, and is actually an award-winning network.

It holds a technological edge over its competitors due to spending more on development. It even includes an automatic ad rotation perk that helps affiliates promote more products.

Because the platform offers a lot, it’s not exactly the easiest to use. However, it’s straightforward enough to learn and provides plenty of tools for targeted advertising.

Rakuten have some pretty big brands on their network, so they like to pay close attention to the affiliates joining their network. If your website only has a trickle of traffic then you may find it tough getting accepted.

They also have some strict rules and may shut you down quickly if you violate them, so be warned.

A big advantage of joining Rakuten is its advertisers and partners. The platform works with big names such as Ray-Ban, JanSport, Virgin – to name but a few.

A couple of things I do like about Rakuten is the wide variety of physical products that they have, and their Net 30 terms payout structure.

The commission payout threshold is also pretty low, starting at $50.

Sign-up URL: Rakuten

Rakuten Pros:

  • Innovative tools
  • Popular brands and products
  • Among the oldest and most reputable networks
  • Offers many targeted advertising tools

Rakuten Cons:

  • Strict vetting process
  • Doesn’t provide as many metrics as other platforms

Impact

The Impact Radius network

With over a decade’s worth of experience, Impact is still among the baby of affiliate networks. However, the people that founded it had prior experience with CommissionJunction, LeadPoint and Savings.com, so they definitely know what they’re doing.

This helped cement Impact as one of the most reputable affiliate marketing programs, despite not being among one of the oldest networks.

The platform has over 1,000 merchants who offer a superior range of products. It’s one of the best affiliate programs for beginners that haven’t found a preferred niche yet.

Their product range is extensive, covering food and drink, arts, tourism, clothing, and even technology.

Bear in mind, joining this platform may take a while. The verification process is lengthy and, in some cases, may even include a phone call, although that didn’t happen to me.

The good news is that these measures would put off the more nefarious affiliates from trying to join, and will leave you more room to promote without worrying too much about commission poaching and other underhanded tactics that does unfortunately happen in the industry.

So, it’s actually a good thing that not everyone makes it onto the platform. This helps to maintain the network’s reputable and trustworthy status.

If merchants see that the quality of affiliate marketers isn’t diluted, they’re less likely to leave.

By comparison, big brands can come and go, even on platforms like Rakuten. It doesn’t happen nearly as often with Impact, which achieved a higher status.

The minimum payment threshold of $25 offers some incentive too. It’s a midrange threshold and suitable enough for most beginners.

Some affiliate marketing networks had their fair share of ups and downs. Impact is among the few consistently keeping an ascending trend in popularity and reliability.

Sign-up URL: Impact

Impact Pros:

  • High-quality products
  • Experienced founders
  • Very trustworthy platform with merchants
  • Midrange payment threshold

Cons:

  • Can take longer to join
  • Doesn’t cater to a wide range of niches

4 Best Affiliate Programs For Beginners

GrooveFunnels Affiliate Program

One of my favorite affiliate programs for people who are just starting out as an affiliate is GrooveFunnels.

GrooveFunnels is an all-in-one marketing and business tool suite that can help you to build, launch, and scale an online business.

Here are some of the main tools that you can promote to your audience if you sign up with GrooveFunnels:

  • Funnel builder
  • Landing page builder
  • Website builder
  • Email autoresponder
  • Hosted webinars
  • Hosted videos
  • Online shopping cart

Here are the reasons why I link this program for beginners:

They Have a Free Plan

GrooveFunnels is easy to promote for 4 reasons – Firstly, they offer a free plan, but their paid plans are so good that around 20% of people who sign up for a free account usually upgrade to a paid plan.

As you can imagine, it’s much easier to promote a free product than a monthly subscription service.

They Offer Recurring Commissions

Secondly, Groove’s paid plans are subscription based, and their affiliate program is a recurring monthly commission.

This means that when you refer someone who upgrades to a paid plan, they will be billed every month, and you will earn a sweet 20-40% commission on their purchase each and every month they remain a Groove user.

If this concept interests you then I recommend you also read my article on the best recurring affiliate programs here.

Tier-2 Commissions

Thirdly, GrooveFunnels also has a tier-2 program. This means that you can earn an additional 5-10% each month from all of the people who have signed up to use the platform through someone that you have signed up directly.

Not Saturated, Yet

And the fourth reason why I really like this program for newbies is that it’s very new and, and for the moment at least, there’s not a lot of competition when it comes to promoting it.

If you want more info about this program then you can read more about becoming a GrooveFunnels affiliate here or you can sign up to promote them here.

ClickFunnels Affiliate Program

ClickFunnels have been around for a while so there’s a lot more competition to promote this product that GrooveFunnels, but there are still several reasons why you can make some really good money promoting them.

Recurring Commissions

ClickFunnels also offers recurring monthly commission payments to their affiliates when they promote their core software product, ClickFunnels.

Very High Converting Offers

ClickFunnels also has a number of other highly popular, and very high converting products that you can promote and earn some great commissions.

Several Low Front-End Offers

They also have several low-cost front-end products that you can promote, such as the DotCom Secrets Book, Expert Secrets, and the Traffic Secrets Book.

When someone buys one of these books all they pay is for the shipping and handling, so it’s a pretty easy sell for you.

However, the ClickFunnels team will then continue to market more expensive products to these folks over time. When they buy something else further down the line, you get paid. So they essentially do all the selling for you once you’ve signed them up to for one of the book offers.

ClickFunnels is a great company, with decent products, and an attractive affiliate program. However, it’s also important to know that a number of CF affiliates have reported that affiliate tracking can be off at times.

You can join the ClickFunnels affiliate program here.

ChemiCloud Affiliate Program

ChemiCloud is a very good web hosting platform with extremely reasonable rates.

I have been a customer of theirs for several years now for one of my small niche websites so I can certainly attest to how good their hosting service is.

And, of course, like pretty much every web hosting company out there, they have an affiliate program.

Here are the reasons why I like promoting ChemiCloud in particular:

  • Commissions start at $50 per sale
  • Very good service so you can feel good about promoting them
  • Very reasonably prices to easier to promote
  • After you’ve referred just 8 customers your commission gets bumper up to $75

You can find out more about the ChemiCloud affiliate program here.

ClickMagick Affiliate Program

ClickMagick is a tool that pretty much every marketer and business owner online can benefit from.

Using ClickMagick has also helped you to earn more money as it will help you to know exactly which campaigns are performing the best for you, and which ones you should drop.

The ClickMagick team have recently put a lot of attention into their affiliate program, and since they have started doing that, I have noticed an increase in sign-ups and a better customer retention rate.

Here are a few reasons why I think ClickMagick is a good affiliate program for beginners:

  • Very useful product
  • Recurring monthly commissions – 30%
  • Good customer retention rate

You can find out about the ClickMagick affiliate program here.

Final Thoughts – Which Is The Best Affiliate Program For Beginners?

In my opinion, ClickBank is the best affiliate program for beginners, for several reasons.

However, picking just one program and calling it the overall ‘best for newbies’ is tough because there are actually several great programs you can work with.

Remember that the goal here is to offer you a recommendation on how to get started. Once your business grows, and you gain experience, you can experiment with other platforms.

That’s what I did, and ClickBank was also the first network that I made money with.

ClickBank is easy to join and there is no vetting process, so you can get started straight away looking for products to promote.

While there are some pretty bad products on ClickBank, I would say the majority of them are decent, at least in the niches that I’ve worked in. CB also covers a wide variety of niches, and a huge range of products.

ClickBank has a very low payment threshold of just $10, so you can start to receive payouts fairly soon once you’ve made a few sales. They also have a simple user interface, great reporting features, and their hoplink tracking is also very good.

Since most products on the ClickBank network are digital products, they tend to have a much higher commission % compared to networks that offer physical products.

If you’re not sold on ClickBank then no worries. All of the networks in this article are great for beginners to sign up with, especially Shareasale, as this would be my very close second choice for newbies.

Whichever affiliate program you choose to start with, make sure you choose good products to promote and stay consistent with your promotional activities.

Once you’ve got your teeth into some of these platforms and started making money, come back here and check out my article on the best high ticket affiliate programs.

GrooveFunnels Affiliate Program – Is It Worth Your Time?

The GrooveFunnels Affiliate program - a person using a laptop

The GrooveFunnels affiliate program is one of the newest to hit the digital marketing world, and many people are saying that it’s going to be one of the most lucrative of its kind.

A lot of experienced affiliate marketers joined the Groove affiliate program straight away once they realized Mike Filsaime is the creator and CEO of GrooveFunnels.

If you’ve not heard of him, he’s the same guy who has already created several other massively successful software companies, including Kartra, WebinarJam, and EverWebinar.

Mike Filsaime is also an amazing marketer who has been in the business for around two decades.

Here in my GrooveFunnels affiliate program review, I am going to go into a lot of detail about this new affiliate program, so you can decide for yourself if it’s a good fit for you to promote.

How To Sign Up For The GrooveFunnels Affiliate Program

To sign up for the Groove affiliate program, all you need to do is simply create a free GroovePages account, and voilà! You are now a GrooveFunnnels affiliate.

There is currently no vetting process to go through when you sign up to become an GrooveFunnels affiliate.

Basically, if you have either a free or paid Groove account then you are automatically approved to be an affiliate.

You will find your promo tools and resources in the affiliate dashboard inside your account, as I will explain later in this article.

How Does The GrooveFunnels Affiliate Program Work?

When you sign up for the GrooveFunnels affiliate program you will be given your own unique set of affiliate links.

When someone clicks on one of your links and then makes a purchase, this purchase is tracked to you.

If however, they click on your link and create a free GroovePages account and do not upgrade to a paid plan right away, this customer is still assigned to you in what Groove CEO Mike Filsaime calls a “parent-child relationship”.

When this happens that customer is tagged to you for life.

When they decide to upgrade to a paid account in the future, you will then be credited with the affiliate commission.

It doesn’t matter if they upgrade to a paid account next week, next year, from a different device than what they originally signed up with, or even from a different country.

This customer is locked into you and you will receive the affiliate commission when they upgrade.

What’s So Good About The Groove Funnels Affiliate Program?

At the time of writing this article, I have been promoting all kinds of affiliate offers for over eight years.

So far, Groove has one of the best affiliate programs for beginners that I have come across for several reasons.

Here are those reasons:

Tagged For Life

As I mentioned earlier, once a customer has clicked your link and signed up for a free account, they are locked to you for life.

When they upgrade you get the commission. If they buy another Groove product, you should also get that commission too.

According to Mike Filsaime, the GrooveFunnels affiliate program does not use cookies so they cannot be overwritten.

This makes it impossible for someone to steal your commissions once the customer has created a free account through your link.

GrooveFunnels Is Easy To Promote

GrooveFunnels is easy to promote for 4 main reasons:

  • It’s a highly in-demand product
  • There is a free lifetime account to promote
  • There is a lot of credibility behind the brand
  • GrooveFunnels is applicable to a wide audience

Pretty much any business out there can benefit from using at least one and in most cases a combination of the tools that Groove offers.

Right now it’s even easier to promote Groove because there is a free account available and it’s so much easier to get someone to sign up for a free account rather than a paid product (in most cases).

Compared to a lot of the established landing page and funnel-builder brands on the market, there’s still not much competition when it comes to promoting Groove.

GrooveFunnels Is a Very In-Demand Product

Both local and online businesses all over the world are realizing the importance of online marketing tools and the benefits they bring.

They’re all hearing about features like landing pages, sales funnels, email autoresponders, webinars, video hosting, shopping carts, setting up an affiliate program to recruit affiliates to promote your products for you, and so on.

All these tools can become very expensive for business owners.

Groove provides all these tools in one so it not only makes it easier for customers to use them, but it also saves them a load of money in the process.

If you do not know about all the tools that Groove comes with then I recommend you take a quick look at my detailed review of GrooveFunnels here.

It Has High Conversion Rates

GrooveFunnels is currently converting at 20%, according to Mike Filsaime, which is pretty damn good!

That means that for every 10 people who sign up for

a free account, an average of 2 of those people will likely upgrade to a paid plan.

Of course, that statistic may change over time, but as of right now those are the figures that Groove is reporting.

Great Commission Structure

At the moment, anyone can sign up to be a GrooveFunnels affiliate and earn a recurring 20% commission on direct referrals, and a further 5% commission on tier-2 sign-ups. (More about the tier-2 commission structure later in this article).

You do not need to pay anything at all to GrooveFunnels to be on this commission structure, and right now there’s no vetting process.

If you become a paid GrooveFunnels user at the Platinum level by either paying monthly for Groove Platinum or if you bought the one-time payment lifetime deal for GrooveFunnels Platinum any time before the end of the Groove launch period on October 20th, 2020 (like I did), then you automatically get the higher rate commission of 40% for direct customer sign-ups and 5% on tier-2 sign-ups.

You Can Earn Recurring Commissions

Once the regular pricing structure for GrooveFunnels rolls out at the end of the launch period (Oct 20th, 2020), new customers will need to pay a monthly subscription.

This means that if you signed a customer up at either 20% or 40%, you will be paid another 20% or 40% each, and every single month that customer remains an active user.

Here are the monthly Groove pricing plans:

  • GrooveFunnels Base – Free for life (we don’t know how long for)
  • GrooveFunnels Silver – $99 per month
  • GrooveFunnels Gold – $199 per month
  • GrooveFunnels Platinum – $299 per month

As you can imagine, those recurring commissions soon stack up!

The Affiliate Dashboard

The Groove affiliate dashboard is user-friendly and easy to find inside your Groove account.

It comes with quite a few promo tools, which are updated and added to regularly.

Where Do I Find My Affiliate Links?

Once you’re inside your Groove account, you will see a button in the top left of your screen which says, ‘Groove Affiliate Program’.

The Groove affiliate dashboard area button

Click that button to enter the GrooveFunnels affiliate area.

Once inside, scroll down the page until you see a section titled, “Promotion Tools”.

There you will see several icons that you can click on to access your affiliate links, use a variety of promotional tools, and check your stats.

Here’s what the affiliate tools section looks like:

The GrooveFunnels affiliate promo tools

In the affiliate area you will be able to find your affiliate links to either promote the GrooveFunnels product itself, or you can use your affiliate link to promote the GrooveFunnels JV opportunity and recruit other affiliates to sign up under you.

What Promo Tools Do I Get?

As you can see from the above screenshot, you get quite a few affiliate tools to use to help you promote.

Here’s a break down of those promo tools inside the GrooveFunnels affiliate program:

  • Email swipes
  • Blog posts and articles
  • Banner images
  • Ads for your thank you pages
  • Ads for logout areas if you run a members area
  • Posts for social media
  • Promotional videos
  • Done-for-you Facebook ads
  • Pre-written email signatures

Groove has said they will be regularly updating the promo tools in the affiliate area to keep them fresh and current.

How GrooveFunnels Affiliates Get Paid

As you would imagine, GrooveDigital uses its own affiliate tracking system, known as GrooveAffiliate, and payout to its affiliates through GrooveSell.

It wouldn’t give you much confidence in their products if they used someone else’s affiliate management system, like ThriveCart!

When someone clicks your link and signs up for a free GroovePages account, that person will show up in your account (stats area) as a ‘sign-up’.

If they upgrade later to a paid account, or if a person signs up with you and upgrades to a paid plan straight away, then that customer will then also be registered as a sale in your account, and you will get paid for that sale once the grace period has passed.

Tiered Commission Structure

As I mentioned earlier, GrooveFunnels has a tiered commission structure, which was another thing that attracted me to become a GrooveFunnels affiliate.

This means that if any of the customers that you signed up to use GrooveFunnels then also wants to promote it as an affiliate, you will also receive a smaller commission on the customers they sign up for no extra work!

If you’re on the 20% commission rate, as I explain above then you will get a further 5% recurring monthly commission on all tier-2 affiliate sign-ups.

And if you’re on the 40% commission rate, then your tier-2 commission is doubled to 10%!

Just imagine if you sign up an influencer to use GrooveFunnels who happens to have a huge list, or you sign up someone who turns out to be a rockstar affiliate.

Those tier-2 commissions can soon add up to more than the commissions you are earning at tier-1.

This is exactly what happened to my friend and fellow affiliate marketer, Greg Jeffries when he was promoting ClickFunnels.

About a year or so after Greg started promoting the CF affiliate program back in 2016, a guy called Spencer Mecham clicked on one of Greg’s links on one of his blogs and signed up to also become a CF affiliate.

It turned out that Spencer was an affiliate marketing rockstar in the making, and very soon became the number one CF affiliate. He has since generated over $1,000,000 with the CF affiliate program.

And as a result, lucky Greg Jeffries earns an average of $10,000 recurring income every single month, most of which comes from Spencer’s referrals, because Spencer is on Greg’s tier 2!

Greg doesn’t have to do any extra work for that money. He can literally retire if he wants to.

However, I believe the old tier-2 commission payment that CF use to offer to affiliates where they sign up (you still get it if you’re an old affiliate), was 5%.

With the GrooveFunnels affiliate program, you can double your tier-2 commissions by signing up for a Platinum account, or you can get the same 5% if you’re a free user of Groove.

When And How Do Affiliates Get Paid?

Another thing I like about the GrooveFunnels affiliate program is that they pay out to their affiliates on a weekly basis.

But first, you need to have made at least 2 sales in order to start receiving payouts.

Groove offers a 30-day money-back guarantee when someone creates or upgrades to a paid account.

Because of this, you need to wait until this 30-day window has elapsed before you are eligible for your affiliate payments.

This is nothing to worry about, and all affiliate programs that offer a guarantee also do this.

Groove also need to allow an additional 7 days in case of refunds.

So, from the time of the sale until the money lands in your account will typically be between 37-42 days. That’s when you get paid.

When you make a sale, it will show in the GrooveSell area of your GrooveFunnels affiliate account.

However, it will still show $0 until the first 14 days have passed. After this point, that $0 will change the commission amount you will receive for that sale, as long as the person doesn’t cancel or refund.

If you’re interested in fast paying affiliate programs the here are more affiliate programs that pay weekly here.

Can I Make Money With The GrooveFunnels Affiliate Program?

Yes, absolutely!

How much money you can make as a Groove affiliate will depend on your skill level to a certain extent. However, it will mostly depend on the amount of work you put into it and your commitment to the program.

There are newbie affiliate marketers right now, like Angie Norris, who are absolutely CRUSHING IT!

At the time of writing this article, Angie has already made well over $50,000 with this affiliate program, and that was ever before the official launch date, while it was still in beta!

If you like the sound of making big commissions then you may also want to take a look at my article here about other high ticket affiliate offers that you can promote.

How To Promote GrooveFunnels Successfully As An Affiliate

If you’re new to affiliate marketing then there is actually a huge range of ways in which you can promote affiliate products.

If you’re a seasoned veteron then you’ve likely already got your methods nailed down, and you’re probably not reading this part.

However, if you’re new to promoting other people’s products online, or if you just want a few tips that will help you to promote this kind of affiliate product, then below I’m going to share with you several effective ways to promote Groove.

But before we get into that, and regardless of what you’re promoting online, you will have much more success if you do the following:

  • Use the product yourself
  • Be honest
  • Focus on one strategy at first until you get enough momentum before incorporating other strategies
  • Follow the terms of service

Methods To Promote GrooveFunnels As An Affiliate

There are many ways you can promote affiliate products and have success online.

However, the methods you choose should reflect your own skill level, expertise, and what you enjoy doing to give yourself the best chance of success.

At this point, I could say to you that you need to start a blog or get into YouTube’ing, or network on social media.

Yes, absolutely all those vehicles can help you.

But, I think it’s more important to talk about some specific strategies that you can use with those platforms to help you succeed, which I will talk about after my little rant that is coming up (fair warning).

Even though GrooveFunnels is a new product on the market, there is a hell of a lot of affiliates trying to promote it.

And not only that, but there are also quite a few seasoned veterans in the affiliate marketing world who you’ll also be competing with.

But don’t let that intimidate you or put you off in any way.

Trust me, the market is absolutely HUGE, and there is more than enough to go around for everyone.

You just want to make sure you stand out from the crowd of other affiliates.

Even if you’re a complete newbie to affiliate marketing and working in the digital marketing space, don’t worry. You can absolutely have success if you focus and apply yourself to just one strategy and then build on it.

In fact, now is THE BEST TIME to do that. And here’s why…

A Quick Story To Inspire You

Here’s a quick story to illustrate my point, and to hopefully inspire you in the fact that, you can absolutely kick-arse (ass in American-English – I’m a Brit, don’t forget) as an affiliate if you apply yourself…

I first got started with affiliate marketing in 2013. It took me a while, but I started having consistent success in 2015 and then started to earn a full-time income from it late 2016.

ClickFunnels launched in 2014.

I heard about ClickFunnels in 2016.

I didn’t pay attention, because I was too focused on the projects I was involved with at that time.

Although I was earning okay money working on those projects at the time, in hindsight, I could have earned A LOT more money with the ClickFunnels program if I paid attention to it back in 2016.

I told myself, “I’m too busy right now”, and, “I’ll look at it later…”

Well, I did look at it later.

I set up a little site promoting ClickFunnels products at the very end of 2018 and made my first CF commissions around Feb 2019.

I decided to promote CF because I use to use it, I liked it (I still think it’s really good), and I still earn over $1,000 per month in recurring revenue from the work I did a few years ago promoting it. And the articles I have floating around on the internet on different blogs still sign up a handful of new people to use it each month.

But I’d missed the boat to make really big money with the CF affiliate program.

Don’t get me wrong, if I focused on CF now, and put a lot of energy into it, then I could absolutely increase my CF commissions by several thousand dollars per month, maybe more.

It’s still a really popular platform, after all.

But I’d have to put a hell of a lot more work into it now than if I had started actively promoting it back in 2016, or earlier.

That’s because there’s now so much competition to compete against.

GrooveFunnels is only just launching.

I’f you’re promoting it now then you’re getting in at the ground level…

and it’s pretty much anyone’s game.

The second point about all this is that CF also used to offer a tier-2 commission. I think it was 5%. But that’s stopped now for any new affiliates that sign up to promote CF.

Their first level commission rate also used to be 40%, but for all new affiliates, it’s now only 30%.

I was lucky that I joined their affiliate program before they made these changes so I’m still locked in at 40%.

We have no idea what GrooveFunnels will do in the future. In time as they grow in popularity and they don’t need as many affiliates to promote them, they may also do a similar thing.

So better get in on the GrooveFunnels affiliate program now if it appeals to you.

There are newbies crushing it with the GrooveFunnels program right now.

Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Of course, you can do what you want with your time, and it won’t make one bit of difference to me.

But if you’re serious about making a good or great income online as an affiliate, and if you like the GrooveFunnels product, and you will allow me to give you a bit of advice, then I highly recommend you take the opportunity right now and get promoting.

If you found that interesting and you want to know more about CF and GF, the similarities and the differences, then you can take a look at my ClickFunnels v GrooveFunnels article here.

Of course, there are other worthy contenders to consider promoting too, such as Kartra, the predecessor to GrooveFunnels, which was also built by Mike Filsaime.

While Kartra and Groove are similar, there are also a number of key differences between the two, which we explain in detail in our Kartra vs GrooveFunnels article here.

Strategies To Help You Promote GrooveFunnels

As promised, here are a few strategies that you can use to help you promote GrooveFunnels and stand out from the crowd.

Niche Down

For a product like GrooveFunnels, when you think about it, it’s a product that will be helpful for pretty much any type of business that operates online, or any business that needs a presence online to generate leads.

That’s pretty damn exciting.

This is the reason why I said earlier that it is absolutely enough for everyone to go around in this affiliate program.

So, to niche down, you want to focus in on one type of user, or target market group.

Here are just a few examples of target markets you can focus on:

  • eCommerce business owners
  • Podcasters
  • Instagram influencers
  • Business coaches
  • Digital product owners
  • Affiliate marketers
  • Photographers
  • Massage therapists
  • Real estate agents (a very good one)
  • Solicitors
  • Book authors
  • Fitness instructors

This is just a very small number of niches as an example for you.

There is a HUGE number of sub-niches that GrooveFunnels will appeal to when you sit down and think about all the different things it can do, and the people it can help.

If you can specialize and appeal to a small target market, not only will you find it easier to promote GrooveFunnels as an affiliate, you will set yourself up as the expert, the go-to person for your sub-niche, and stand out front the crowd.

I guarantee you that some Groove affiliates are doing this right now.

But they can’t cover every niche. There’s just too many niches out there that Groove appeals too.

Create Your Own Bonuses

Offering relevant bonuses to your target sub-niche can often help to push them over the edge to sign up.

Using bonuses can also help people to decide to sign up with you specifically, instead of another affiliate because they also want your bonuses.

Here are a few tips to provide good bonuses:

  • Make them relevant to GrooveFunnels and your sub-niche audience
  • It can help to provide bonuses that make it easier for your sub-niche to use GrooveFunnels
  • Free software bonuses are often popular and highly appealing to offer along with this type of product (however, they are harder to come by)
  • Too many bonuses can look desperate and off-putting
  • Buying PLR products can work as bonuses, but often most of them are of poor quality and look cheap. If you go down this route then spend a bit more money to buy the rights to good quality products and get your own covers designed for them
  • Get someone to design eye-catching and highly appealing eCovers for your bonuses

You can use one of these guys on Fiverr to create very professional-looking ones inexpensively.

Create Helpful “How To” Content

Nowadays, as much as 93% of people rely on online reviews before they make a purchase. This also includes written product reviews, short testimonials, and video reviews.

That’s why product review articles and videos work so well.

A lot of people want to get all the details about the product from someone who’s already using it, or who has tested it out.

If you’re going to do this, one of the most important things is to make sure your reviews are honest and factual.

Create A Case Study

People love a case study.

If it’s a product like GrooveFunnels that can actually help you to achieve a specific result then why not create a case study and show the results you achieved?

This not only carries with it a lot of credibility, but it’s also very engaging for people to look at your case study who want to use the product for the same or similar thing that you are showing.

GrooveFunnels Affiliate Program – My Final Thoughts

I covered a lot in my GrooveFunnels affiliate program review. However, there is quite a lot to know, especially if you’re new to affiliate marketing.

As you can see, the GrooveFunnels affiliate program is pretty awesome and is set to become one of the best partying affiliate programs in time.

With its generous commission levels, its 2-tiered commission structure, and recurring commissions, you can soon build up a very nice recurring monthly income for yourself if you choose to focus and do the work needed to promote the GrooveFunnels product.

If you are thinking of promoting GrooveFunnels then I highly recommend you sign up as an affiliate today and lock in your commission structure, because it might change in the future.

If you are a serious affiliate marketer, or if you’re serious about building up a large income with the gRoove program then you may also want to consider upgrading your own Groove account to Platinum in order to receive the higher commission rate.

Best of luck!

It means a lot to me, and any commissions I do make from this blog enables me to continue to provide you with all this awesome, free content. However, any commissions I do receive does not affect my reviews and comparisons. If I think a product is sub-standard I will either say so in the article or I will not feature it on my blog. GrooveFunnels vs ClickFunnels: The Funnel Builder Showdown

GrooveFunnels vs ClickFunnels - people in a business meeting

If you have been thinking about purchasing a funnel builder, you may have come across the popular solution ClickFunnels.

The problem with ClickFunnels though, is that it can get pretty expensive and it also doesn’t have video hosting, which can be quite annoying when building membership sites, or if you need a place to host your video sales letters (VSL).

That’s why today, I’m going to be comparing GrooveFunnels vs ClickFunnels to help you find the solution that is suited best to your business.

Something that did catch my eye about GrooveFunnels is that they do also offer a free plan, which is quite rare for a funnel builder. We’ll talk more about this later on though.

What Is ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels is the most popular funnel building software on the market.

It was founded by Russell Brunson in 2014 and has since then grown a massive community of marketers, small business owners, and entrepreneurs.

ClickFunnels also was one of the first funnel builders to be somewhat of an “all-in-one” platform that also lets you:

  • Manage your affiliates
  • Build membership sites
  • Host webinars
  • Build checkouts
  • Send emails

What Is GrooveFunnels?

GrooveFunnels is an all-in-one business and marketing software suite that has been created by by the company GrooveDigital.

The company GrooveDigital was not founded until 2018, but GrooveFunnels itself was only released in April 2020 in beta. GrooveFunnels officially launches on October 6th.

For this reason, it’s still a developing product until its release date, which means some of the features are not available yet.

However, the most important features are already live for you to use, meaning it does more than enough to help you build an online business.

Once the software is fully developed, it will have by far the biggest selection of features.

GrooveFunnels was founded by:

  • Mike Filsaime
  • John Cornetta
  • Matt Serralta
  • Matt Naus
GrooveFunnels Founders

If you want the full, deep-dive on all of Groove’s features then I recommend you check out my GrooveFunnels review here.

GrooveFunnels vs ClickFunnels: Similarities

Other than the name, there are also several other similarities between GrooveFunnels and ClickFunnels.

Some of these include:

  • Ease of use
  • Ready-to-use funnel templates
  • Membership sites
  • Affiliate management tool
  • Email autoresponder feature
  • Learning curve
  • Share funnels
  • Drag & drop builder
  • Shopping cart feature
  • Upsell/downsell pages
  • A/B testing
  • Affiliate program
  • Community
  • Customer service

Ease of Use

Both GrooveFunnels and ClickFunnels are quite easy to use.

They have a nice dashboard that lets you access all features with ease.

Both platforms do not require any coding or tech knowledge, and there is also no need to worry if you don’t have any experience with building funnels or websites.

Ready-to-use Funnel Templates

Another similarity between GrooveFunnels and ClickFunnels is that they both come with ready-to-use funnel templates.

These templates are ready to use, you only have to plug-in your product and copy, then you’re good to go.

Both platforms have templates for all different kinds of funnels, although it does look like ClickFunnels has a few more. This is to be expected, as ClickFunnels has been in development for a lot longer, meaning they have built more templates.

Still, both ClickFunnels and GrooveFunnels have templates that are:

  • Ready-to-use
  • High-converting
  • Easy-to-edit

Membership Sites

GrooveFunnels and ClickFunnels can both be used to build membership sites.

Both membership site builders have:

  • Drip-feed content
  • Multiple access levels
  • Templates for landing pages & membership area

Affiliate Management Tool

ClickFunnels and GrooveFunnels also come with an affiliate management tool.

This means you will be able to recruit and manage affiliates directly from the dashboard in each platform. You can set up custom commissions, links and have a closed or open affiliate program with both ClickFunnels and GrooveFunnels.

Email Autoresponder Feature

Another similarity is that both ClickFunnels and GrooveFunnels have an autoresponder feature.

GrooveMail, the autoresponder feature inside of GrooveFunnels is ready to use, but it is not fully developed yet. However, it’s worth noting that Mike Filsaime and John Cornetta are planning to make GrooveMail as advanced as ActiveCampaign and GetResponse once it’s fully developed.

ClickFunnels’ follow-up funnels are fully developed but don’t quite have as many automation triggers (or rules, they are called in ClickFunnels) as for example ActiveCampaign.

That being said, the follow-up funnels are still more than enough to build effective email marketing campaigns.

You can also integrate ClickFunnels and GrooveFunnels with any other email marketing software if you needed to.

Learning Curve

Despite both GrooveFunnels and ClickFunnels being easy to use, they also have a learning curve.

This is because it will naturally take you some time until you fully understand the platform’s features and how they work. It’s not like a massive learning curve like you may know from other SaaS tools, it’s more just getting used to the platforms.

Share Funnels

Something that is also quite cool about both of these platforms is the ability to create share funnels.

Using a unique link (or code for GrooveFunnels) you can share your entire funnel with another user in minutes.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s a membership site, a squeeze page, or your sales page, it can easily be shared with another user of the platform.

Drag & Drop Page Builder

GrooveFunnels and ClickFunnels also have an easy-to-use drag and drop page builder.

Both page builders work similarly by letting you drag and drop your sections and elements to build your landing pages and funnels.

Combined with the beautiful templates that we spoke about earlier, GrooveFunnels and ClickFunnels make it easy to build high-converting funnels.

Shopping Cart Feature

Another feature that is similar inside of ClickFunnels and GrooveFunnels is the shopping cart feature.

Both platforms easily let you build high-converting checkouts that you can use for your sales pages.

ClickFunnels and GrooveFunnels also let you add order bumps onto your cart to help you make more sales.

Upsell & Downsell Pages

Upsell and downsell pages are essential if you want to make the most out of every sale.

Both platforms let you build upsell and downsell pages that can even process purchases with just one-click if the payment information is stored (i.e they have made a purchase before).

A/B Testing

Another similarity between the two platforms is the full A/B testing functionality to help you find the best converting version of your pages.

This means there will be no need for split-testing your pages manually and trying to figure out which one converts best.

ClickFunnels and GrooveFunnels will track your results and help you determine a winner so that you don’t have to.

Affiliate Program

GrooveFunnels and ClickFunnels also have pretty solid affiliate programs.

They are both free to join and give you the ability to promote their platforms to earn commissions.

On both affiliate programs, the commission rates vary from 20-40% depending on which tier and plan you are on.

One way the two affiliate programs vary though is that ClickFunnels also has a wide range of other products that you can promote, for example, Russel Brunson’s books and courses. I can tell you from experience, they convert very well.

GrooveFunnels, on the other hand, is still new and so, at the moment you can only promote the GrooveFunnels all-in-one software suite via the Groove affiliate program.

Community

GrooveFunnels and ClickFunnels have the two biggest communities in the funnel building niche, as they both have over 100,000 members.

Both platforms have Facebook groups where you can network and get any help if you need some. ClickFunnels does have the upper hand in terms of group members as they have 253,000 vs GrooveFunnels’ 101,000.

That being said, GrooveFunnels has done pretty well when you consider that it’s only just launching.

Customer Service

Last but not least, they are also similar in terms of customer service.

They both provide:

  • Ticketing support
  • Chat support
  • Email support

One thing to note though is that ClickFunnels only provides “priority support” on the $297 per month plan. otherwise, you’ll have to contend with ticketed support.

From my experience, they always get back to you and are very helpful. They sometimes even record an over the shoulder video to show you how to do certain tasks. However, you’ll usually need to wait for several hours for them to get back to you each time.

If you are on the two comma club x plan at $2,497 you also get access to the VIP phone support.

GrooveFunnels vs ClickFunnels: Differences

Now that we have taken a look at the similarities between ClickFunnels and GrooveFunnels, let’s take a look at the differences between them.

What ClickFunnels Has That GrooveFunnels Does Not Have

Here are some of the things that ClickFunnels has, but GrooveFunnels doesn’t.

FunnelFlix

The first part of ClickFunnels which isn’t available in GrooveFunnels is FunnelFlix.

FunnelFlix is a giant selection of courses and training created by Russel Brunson and the ClickFunnels team to help members succeed with funnels.

If you are on the ClickFunnels platinum plan, you will also get access to the platinum section of FunnelFlix.

It doesn’t only have educational material on funnels, but also on copywriting, marketing, and traffic.

The platinum section also includes recordings of events that had ticket prices of up to $25,000, so to get them included with your account is pretty sweet.

FunnelFridays

Something else that is also exclusive to ClickFunnels is the Funnel Fridays series.

Every Friday, ClickFunnels hosts a show where they let you watch over their shoulders while they build a high-converting sales funnel.

Attending these streams can be extremely helpful, especially when you combine this with Funnel Scripts or FunnelFlix.

The cool thing about FunnelFridays is also that every week they create a different type of funnel.

So, no matter whether you’re looking to build a membership funnel, lead funnel or whatever type of funnel you want, one of the series will walk you through it.

Funnel Hackathon

Last but not least, also only available in ClickFunnels is the Funnel Hackathon.

This is a weekly coaching program, where you and other ClickFunnels users can build your funnels from start to finish.

There will be a coach who will guide you through the entire process, and help you with the parts of your funnel that need improving.

The Funnel Hackathon is only available in ClickFunnels’ $297 per month platinum plan.

What GrooveFunnels Has That ClickFunnels Does Not Have

GrooveFunnels clearly aims to set a new standard in terms of features in the funnel-building category. Below, you can see all the things it has which ClickFunnels doesn’t.

If you need most of them, then that’s definitely a reason to consider GrooveFunnels over ClickFunnels.

A Free-Forever Plan

First of all, it has a free forever plan.

If you join GrooveFunnels now, you can get the core features (GroovePages + GrooveSell) for completely free. You can connect custom domains, build pages, and sell your products.

ClickFunnels on the other hand doesn’t have a free plan, so that is something only available in GrooveFunnels.

GrooveVideo

Another quite big feature only available in GrooveFunnels is video hosting.

Videos that you use in your membership sites or on your sales pages will need to be hosted somewhere other than YouTube.

Normally, you would need a video hosting platform like Wistia or Vimeo for this, but GrooveFunnels has this built-in, while ClickFunnels doesn’t.

This means, if you use ClickFunnels you will need to use an external service that can often cost $99 per month.

GrooveCalendar

GrooveCalendar is a calendar feature as the name suggests.

This feature helps you book appointments and manage your time. If you’re a service-based business or offer consultations, then you might use something like Calendly already.

But, GrooveFunnels has it built it, meaning you would save additional subscription costs.

If you do need a calendar app, then this could be another reason why GrooveFunnels might be a better fit for you.

GrooveDesk

GrooveDesk is a helpdesk feature which is also directly built into GrooveFunnels.

ClickFunnels doesn’t have anything like this, meaning you’ll have to get another external tool for this purpose as well.

GrooveBlog

GrooveBlog is the blogging feature inside of GrooveFunnels.

Although, it’s still in development as of right now, the plans they have for this feature are pretty big.

In 2021, there will be a plugin store/marketplace where 3rd party developers can contribute new plugins making it an open-source platform similar to WordPress.

This is one of the GrooveFunnels features that I am extremely excited for, as I enjoy both blogging and building sales funnels.

And, up until now, there hasn’t been a funnel builder which has managed to combine the two, so I’ve always had to continue using WordPress when creating blogs.

Faster Load Times

The pages you build inside of GrooveFunnels will also load much quicker than anything built in ClickFunnels.

If your pages load faster, they will also convert better and therefore make you more money. Plus, they will also rank better in Google and other search engines.

Quiz Builder

GrooveQuiz is a feature that lets you quiz your audience. This can be a great way to engage your audience and it’s only available inside of GrooveFunnels.

That being said, you can build basic quizzes in ClickFunnels too by interlinking the buttons and pages, however, this is rather limited compared to what Groove has to offer.

Hosted Webinars

Another feature that isn’t available in ClickFunnels is the ability to host webinars.

GrooveWebinar lets you host both your regular webinars and your auto-webinars (or evergreen), while ClickFunnels doesn’t.

If you decide to use ClickFunnels you will also need an external hosting service to host your webinars which is quite annoying, as it’s another additional cost.

GrooveSurvey

GrooveSurvey is the survey builder inside of GrooveFunnels.

You can use this feature to get detailed information about your customers allowing you to make tweaks in your marketing or business in general to increase your sales.

ClickFunnels Drawbacks

Despite its popularity, ClickFunnels does have some drawbacks compared to GrooveFunnels. You may find that these limitations don’t really impact you, but that depends on your business.

If they are problems that affect your business, then you should consider using something like GrooveFunnels instead.

Limited Basic Plan

The first ClickFunnels drawback is how limited their basic plan is.

In their basic plan, you don’t get access to:

  • Priority support
  • Affiliate management
  • Follow-up funnels

Plus, it also has some annoying limits on the number of pages, funnels, and domains.

Despite these limitations, this plan does cost $97 per month which probably isn’t the best value for the money.

No Video Hosting

ClickFunnels also has no video hosting functionality meaning you will need something external like Vimeo or Wistia which will cost you at least $49 per month.

If you are hosting videos for an entire membership site, this will usually cost you at least $99 per month.

Pages Do Not Rank Well In Google

The pages built inside of ClickFunnels are quite slow and you have limited control over them.

If you’re looking to get traffic from search engines, then using ClickFunnels will not be your best bet. GrooveFunnels on the other hand has fast-loading pages meaning it’s better for SEO.

No blog feature

If you want to have a blog, there is no way of having it inside of ClickFunnels.

As mentioned earlier, this means you will need a separate blog on something like WordPress. And, it can also be quite tricky to get your ClickFunnels pages on the same domain as your WordPress pages.

You can integrate the two, but then ClickFunnels pages often load even slower. Or, you can use a subdomain that isn’t as good for your SEO and can also cause a feeling of disconnect between your blog and funnels.

Affiliate Management Tracking Is Not Great

Another ClickFunnels drawback is the affiliate management tool. While the options you have managing your affiliates are alright, the tracking is limited.

More importantly, the tracking doesn’t seem very accurate.

ClickFunnels uses their own affiliate management software (BackPack) for their affiliate program. As a ClickFunnels affiliate myself, I have noticed that sometimes the tracking is off.

There is also quite a bit of talk in the ClickFunnels affiliate community that people have not been credited for some referrals, or they have noticed that they have been credited for a referral that has someone else’s tracking ID.

Fortunately, this doesn’t seem to happen often, but it does happen.

This is a shame, and I hope that ClickFunnels will fix this soon, because it is honestly a good product, and they have one of the best affiliate programs in the industry.

However, because of this, I would have concerns about using BackPack myself to promote my own products at the moment.

When it comes to using BackPack and tracking your affiliates, the information you get for each affiliate is:

  • Trials signed up
  • Earnings (Daily, weekly, monthly)
  • When they joined
  • Payment email

GrooveFunnels on the other hand gives you detailed analytics for every single affiliate.

For example, you can see how much traffic each affiliate is referring to you. Now, if one affiliate is sending thousands of visitors and none are converting, you can check the traffic quality.

If the affiliate is sending spammy or non-targeted traffic, you’ll probably want to remove them or at least warn them, as it can mess up your advertising pixels.

With ClickFunnels, you wouldn’t know if this is the case as you can’t see how many visitors are coming from each affiliate.

No free plan

Unlike GrooveFunnels, ClickFunnels doesn’t have a free plan.

This means if you want to use it, you’ll have to go straight onto the $97 per month plan. Of course, there is a free trial, but it’s not quite the same as a free-forever plan.

GrooveFunnels Drawbacks

Although GrooveFunnels has a much smaller quantity of drawbacks, no software is perfect. It also has its disadvantages and the main reason for them is that it’s still in the early stages.

If this is something that you can’t tolerate, then consider using the ClickFunnels trial to see whether that is the best option for you.

Still in Beta

The first and probably biggest drawback is that it’s still in beta. A lot of the features inside of this software are still being developed, meaning you don’t have a finished product.

Additionally, you might not be sure that it even does what it promises to. However, given that it’s already a killer platform and has founders with a successful track record of creating SaaS tools, I think it’s almost certain that it will hold its promise.

The main part of this drawback is only in the short term, which is that it’s not fully developed yet.

Smaller Community (but, it’s still in the early stages)

GrooveFunnels has a smaller community than ClickFunnels. That is to be expected though, as it’s still in early stages.

In case you forgot, here are the sizes of the Facebook groups of both platforms:

  • ClickFunnels 253,000 members
  • GrooveFunnels 100,000 members

Given that GrooveFunnels is in such early stages, you can probably expect the size of their community to catch up in the following years.

Setting up custom domains is slightly more tricky

Another small drawback of GrooveFunnels is that setting up custom domains is slightly more tricky.

This isn’t a biggie and after setting them up once, you’ll get used to it. But, it can be annoying the first time setting up, as you have to go into the DNS settings of your domain.

GrooveFunnels vs ClickFunnels: Pricing

To help you find the best software for you, I’ve also explained the pricing in full below.

GrooveFunnels Pricing

GrooveFunnels has a free plan as I did mention throughout this article. But the paid plans are just as good value for money.

For example, the silver plan gives you almost an identical set of features as ClickFunnels’ $297 per month plan. The difference being you get video hosting instead of webinars.

At $199 per month, GrooveFunnels Gold is a pretty good deal too, as you also get access to GrooveBlog, GrooveDesk, and GrooveCalendar.

The platinum plan at $299 per month, gives you access to everything offering inside of Groove including the E-commerce platform GrooveKart.

The GrooveFunnels pricing list

Depending on when you are seeing this, there may still be a lifetime deal available for GroovePlatinum.

If the deal is available, you can get lifetime access to everything inside of GrooveFunnels for $1397. Considering this normally costs $299 per month, that is a crazy deal.

To check whether The lifetime deal is still available, just follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Join GrooveFunnels for free here (No credit card required) <<<<<< Insert aff link
  • Step 2: In your dashboard, hit “upgrade”
  • Step 3: Scroll through the page to see any available deals

This deal is meant to stop early October, but you can check whether it’s still available by following the instructions outlined above.

ClickFunnels Pricing

As mentioned earlier, ClickFunnels does not have a free plan and starts at $99 per month.

Below, you can see the pricing table with everything that comes in each plan.

ClickFunnels pricing list

Something to note though is that to get access to all features, training, and coaching, you have to be on the $297 per month plan.

Here is a list of features not available in the $97 per month plan:

  • Follow up funnels
  • Affiliate management tool
  • Hackathon coaching
  • Priority support
  • Additional training of FunnelFlix

Before I wrap up my GrooveFunnels vs ClickFunnels comparison, I wanted to show you this video of Groove’s CEO, Mile Filsaime, explaining the differences between Groove and ClickFunnels to a fellow marketing expert, Mike Long.

Of course, Mike is bias when talking about his own product, but I thought this video is helpful as he breaks the comparison down in a very clear way.

Final Thoughts – ClickFunnels Vs GrooveFunnels – Which Is Best?

As you have seen throughout this comparison, both pieces of software offer a solid funnel-building platform.

One of the key takeaways is that GrooveFunnels offers a free plan that has ClickFunnels’ core features which are the sales funnel builder, and the cart/sales platform. It also has a much larger quantity of features, so you might argue you get more value for your money with Groove.

However, ClickFunnels’ core offering is their funnel builder, and that’s where most of their development goes.

Because of this, and that GrooveFunnels is still in early stages, I would say that ClickFunnels wins in the funnel-building aspect.

Another aspect in which ClickFunnels wins is the educational material that they provide.

The selection of training inside of FunnelFlix is much larger than the material in GrooveFunnels’ GrooveDigital Academy. However, Mike Filsaime has said that this is also an area that will be under constant improvement, with more training courses added regularly.

Overall, I think it’s hard to pick out a winner, as they are both great for their own purposes.

ClickFunnels could be a good option for you if you’re looking for an easy-to-use funnel builder, you want to get access to their FunnelFlix training course library, and you want to plug into their large community.

GrooveFunnels could be a good option for you if you are looking for an all-in-one suite of online business tools with more features, as it can help you save thousands in annual subscription fees.

GrooveFunnels Review – Is It Worth Your Time?

My GrooveFunnels Review

In the world of funnel builders, GrooveFunnels is the new kid on the block.

Promising to be an all-in-one business and marketing suite capable of handling the work-load of any online business, GrooveFunnels has set itself a lot to live up to.

Fortunately, there is an impressive team of well-known and highly successful marketers and entrepreneurs behind the platform, led by the CEO, Mike Filsame.

If you haven’t heard of Mike, he’s the guy behind other massively successful software brands, including, WebinarJam, EverWebinar and Kartra.

If Mike and his team can make GrooveFunnels as good or better than the above mentioned brands, then Groove is set to be one of the new market leaders.

Bear in mind, GrooveFunnels is still in Beta and does not officially launch until October 2020. But, you can get in now on either the free Base account or get their GrooveFunnels lifetime deal, for a very limited time.

Just note that if you want to upgrade and get the Platinum account on the lifetime deal then you will first need to sign up for a free account and then upgrade from within your dashboard.

In this article, I’m gonna do a deep-dive on this new funnel building software extravaganza to give you the full picture of what it can do.

Things To Consider Before Buying a Funnel Builder

Before we dive into this GrooveFunnels review, I wanted to share a few key points that are important to look for before you buy a funnel builder.

  • Features

The first and most important thing to consider is, of course, the features.

You’re purchasing the funnel builder to essentially build your business, meaning it should at least meet your needs.

You should think about this, as the capability of the software you’re going to be using has a direct impact on your revenue.

Will the features help you to achieve your goals more easily?

Will the features help you to scale your business?

Do the features warrant the price?

  • Community

Something less obvious that I recommend you consider when is the community behind it. Believe it or not, this is quite important. Why?

First of all, you can always get help from members of the community. Secondly, it can open up networking opportunities with other business owners.

Even if networking isn’t something you’re interested in, it wouldn’t hurt having a group of fellow users available to you.

  • Pricing

Lastly, you also want to look at the pricing. Funnel builders can be costly, so make sure to choose one that is in your budget.

That being said, the price shouldn’t be your primary concern. If you’ve chosen a good funnel builder then the features should help you generate more revenue. If this is the case, then there isn’t any reason not to pay a little more compared to some cheaper alternatives.

What Is GrooveFunnels?

What is GrooveFunnels? An infographic explaining

GrooveFunnels is a relatively new funnel builder that is still evolving, but it is doing so at an incredibly fast rate.

Just like some of its competitors, GrooveFunnels aims to be an all-in-one marketing platform. Groove does this by taking a range of different SaaS tools that most businesses need, and combining them into one, convenient dashboard.

This is quite similar to the promise that ClickFunnels makes, but as you’ll see later on, GrooveFunnels has considerably more features.

What’s also intriguing about GrooveFunnels that most of the other funnel builders do not have, is a free plan.

Most of Groove’s competitors, including ClickFunnels, start their pricing around $97 per month.

Having a free plan is a great way for beginners to start using the software. It also gives people the chance to try it out to the point where they can actually get results with it, and not be limited by a trial period deadline.

I think this is one of the main reasons why GrooveFunnels has become the fastest-growing funnel building platform.

If you want to put this in perspective, Groove opened the doors on their Beta version in April 2020. In just 6 months they already have over 75,000 members, and they are officially due to launch in October 2020.

This is even more impressive when you realize that one of the market leaders, ClickFunnels, first launched in 2014, and they now currently have around 120,000 users.

If you want to see an in-depth comparison between these two marketing software platforms then take a look at my GrooveFunnels vs ClickFunnels article here.

Who Is GrooveFunnels For?

GrooveFunnels has such a long list of features that will appeal to almost any type of online business.

While the software suite can certainly be used by pretty much any business that has a presence online, the main target audience of this product are:

  • E-commerce Stores
  • Agencies
  • Marketers
  • Affiliates
  • Service businesses
  • Info-product vendors
  • Brick and mortar businesses

If you’re looking to increase your sales, stay connected with your customers, scale your business revenue, and be part of a like-minded community, then this platform might be a good fit for you.

Who Created GrooveFunnels?

Founding members

The four founding members of this platform are:

  • Mike Filsaime (CEO & Co-founder)
  • John Cornetta (President)
  • Mattijs Naus (CTO)
  • Matt Serralta (COO)

Mike Filsaime

Mike Filsaime has worked on some very successful projects like WebinarJam, EverWebinar, and Kartra and is the CEO of GrooveDigital.

John Cornetta

John Cornetta has run several successful e-commerce stores that do over $300,000 per month. He also works on a lot of the educational material which we’ll talk about later on in this review.

Mattjis Naus

Mattjis Naus is a world-class software developer and the main person behind the technical parts of this company.

Matt Seralta

Matt Seralta is the Architect behind GrooveKart which is an E-commerce platform included with GrooveFunnels. I’ll go into more detail on this later on as well.

What Do You Get With GrooveFunnels?

With GrooveFunnels, you get more features currently than with any other funnel builder on the market.

Here’s what’s included:

  • GroovePages
  • GrooveSell
  • GrooveMember
  • GrooveAffiliate
  • GrooveMail
  • GrooveBlog
  • GrooveQuiz
  • GrooveKart
  • GrooveVideo
  • GrooveWebinars
  • GrooveDesk
  • GrooveCalendar
  • GrooveSurvey
  • GroovePages – For Shopify
  • GrooveFunnels Support & Training
  • GrooveFunnels Community

GrooveFunnels Features

As you can see from the above list, GrooveFunnels completely raises the standard in terms of features offered.

Before we take a closer look at the features, I would like to point out that not all of the features are currently available. Some are due to go live later on in 2020.

The apps that are still to roll out are as follows:

  • GrooveWebinars
  • GrooveBlog
  • GrooveCalendar
  • GrooveDesk
  • GrooveQuiz
  • GrooveSurvey

Everything else is already available inside of the platform now.

When I first heard that there are still a few features that are not yet live, and looking at the impressive list of features that they already have, I did have concerns if these additional apps would actually go live at all.

However, considering the people who are behind the software, I do have confidence that they will live up to their promises, and will actually be able to deliver. Afterall, these guys have proven track records for creating successful software products, and, of course, their reputations are also on the line!

Mike Filsaime was behind Kartra, WebinarJam, and EverWebinar which are also great platforms that have brought people a lot of success in their businesses.

Anyways, let’s now take a closer look at each of the features.

GroovePages

GroovePages Templates

The first core feature is GroovePages, which is the page builder application.

When you first get inside GroovePages, one of the first things you will notice is that it comes with a variety of good-looking templates that you can use.

After a little play around, I was pleased to see that you can easily customize these templates through your drag and drop editor.

GroovePages and Page Load Speed

Something I particularly like about landing pages built with Groove is that they actually load pretty quickly. This is because they are uploaded to the web as an HTML file.

For this reason, the pages you create will load faster than if you were using other platforms like Kartra or ClickFunnels.

This feature alone can actually make a big difference for your business for two reasons.

Firstly, if your pages load fast then your potential customers will not get frustrated waiting for your pages to render and decide to leave your site.

Secondly, earlier in 2020, Google made page load speed a core part of their algorithm. This meant that slow-loading pages actually started to see a demotion in organic search rankings.

Since sites built with GroovePages can rank in Google, you will stand a much better chance of reaching the top of the search results.

Impressively, you can use GroovePages to create a fully functional website complete with checkout options, or just a simple squeeze page.

If you are on the paid plan, you can create unlimited pages and sell unlimited products, while the free plan has a limit of 3 for each.

That being said, you can still connect custom domains, even on the free plan which is pretty nice too.

This feature combined with GrooveSell also lets you create:

  • One-click Order bumps
  • One-click Upsells
  • One-click Downsells
a GroovePages website

Features like these help you increase your conversions significantly, as they make it much easier for your customer to purchase additional products.

If you think about why big companies like Amazon are so successful, it’s because they make everything as convenient as possible for their customers.

Using the one-click order bumps upsells and downsells you can do something similar to help you generate even more sales.

With beautiful templates, fast loading pages, and an easy to use editor, GroovePages gives you pretty much everything you need to maximize your conversions.

Plus, the fact that this feature is available for free is pretty crazy when you consider the pricing of other tools.

I would say that GroovePages alone is quite comparable to Unbounce, which starts at $80 per month.

Fun fact: You can connect more custom domains with the free version of GroovePages, than the $80 per month plan of Unbounce.

GrooveSell

The GrooveSell Dashboard

GrooveSell is another big feature that this platform has to offer. It’s a sales and affiliate platform that you can use to process payments and create checkouts.

As I mentioned in the GroovePage description, these features go hand in hand. One lets you build your pages, the other lets you sell your products.

GrooveSell also has very nice analytics which shows you the following:

  • Profit
  • Net profit
  • Revenue
  • Initial Sales
  • Rebills
  • Commissions (If affiliate)
  • Projected Sales
  • And more

Just like GroovePages, this feature is also available in the free plan. However, this may change in the future which is why you’re probably best to sign up for GrooveFunnels now if you are thinking to do so.

Besides the analytics, you can also connect a variety of 3rd party payment processors like Stripe or Paypal without any additional fees.

Alternatively, you can also use their payment processor, GroovePay which stands as its own entity and isn’t a part of GrooveFunnels. However, they work well with each other, as both are created by the same company.

GrooveMember

GrooveMember is another great feature that this software has to offer, as it lets you build your membership site.

Like the other features, inside of Groove, it doesn’t disappoint.

It’s pretty much like any other membership site builder, such as Thinkific and Kajabi.

GrooveMember has:

  • Different levels of access for your members
  • Drip-feed content options
  • Ability to create free and paid courses

Just like everything else inside of this software, GrooveMember is constantly evolving. It is also set to have certification options available, once it is fully developed. Still, even now it can compete with other membership site platforms.

And, if you for some reason, you don’t want to use GrooveMember, it will also natively integrate with all the most popular membership site platforms on the market.

GrooveAffiliate

Similar to the ClickBank marketplace, GrooveAffiliate is a marketplace that all the Groove users will have access to. It is known as the GrooveMarket.

With this also comes the affiliate management, so you can use it to recruit affiliates, track their stats, and even pay them directly from the same dashboard as all your other apps.

Again, it’s pretty nice having your affiliate management platform, in the same dashboard as everything else. It makes managing your business convenient and allows you to run everything smoothly using just one piece of software.

GrooveMail

If you run any type of online business, you’ll know how important email marketing is.

GrooveMail removes any need for an external autoresponder and helps you follow up with your list to make more sales.

How good is it?

At the moment, the Groove email feature is still in beta, but the folks behind this software solution are aiming for it to be on par with other well-known services such as ActiveCampaign and the GetResponse autoresponder.

Until that time though, we will have to wait and see.

Once it fully rolls out, it is supposed to have comprehensive automation features, tagging, email templates, and even SMS gateway functionality.

You’ll be able to use an extensive number of triggers, or “conditional splits” as they are called inside of GrooveMail. And, there are also several tagging options available.

As of right now, the full list of triggers is not yet available, but they will be in the coming months, which I am looking forward to seeing.

There are basic triggers that you can use already such as:

  • If lead is subscribed
  • If lead is not subscribed
  • If lead has tag
  • If lead doesn’t have tag

But, GrooveFunnels say there will be many more triggers coming to allow for advanced automation sequences.

However, GrooveMail is one of the latest additions to the platform. It only just launched in September 2020, so it still has a little way to go in its development.

GrooveBlog

GrooveBlog is the blogging platform that will allow you to run a responsive blog that will also be Google-friendly.

It’s probably going to be fairly basic in comparison to WordPress, but if you only need a simple blogging platform then it might be all you need.

If you need something more advanced, or if you already have an active blog set up on WordPress then GrooveFunnels will also integrate directly with this popular content management system.

That aside, GrooveBlog is there if you want to run a blog from within your Groove dashboard and you don’t need all the bells and whistles that WordPress provides.

For example, if you have an agency or coaching website, you might decide that a blog should be part of your strategy.

This is where you can use this feature to start a blog. The pages created with GrooveBlog will be SEO-friendly, fast-loading, and fully customizable.

Even though it won’t have anywhere near as many plugin options that WordPress does, Mike Filsaime has announced that there will be a plugin store like the one WordPress has where 3rd party developers can upload their plugins.

This, therefore, may also provide a unique opportunity for developers to create and sell plugins on the Groove platform and earn additional revenue. However, I am just speculating about that.

That being said, it will take years of development to reach the level of WordPress. It’s a nice feature that most other funnel builders don’t have, nonetheless.

GrooveQuiz

The next feature is GrooveQuiz, which as the name suggests lets you quiz your audience.

Quizzes are a great way for you to engage your audience and lead them through a sales process.

The ability to use quizzes will also help you to gather valuable information about your customers to help you serve them better, and ultimately for you to make more money.

GrooveKart

GrooveKart is a stand alone E-commerce platform that is comparable with Shopify. The main difference is that it has the most popular Shopify apps included… for free.

If you’re a Shopify user then you will know that this can save you hundreds of dollars on additional apps that you will no longer need to pay for.

Although on the official GrooveKart website, the use of this platform starts at $99 per month or $497 per year, you can actually get free access to it with the paid membership of GrooveFunnels.

If you are into E-commerce, this is an absolute steal when you consider the pricing of some of their competitors like Shopify.

It also has a range of unique options for Print-on-demand and shipping that would normally cost additional fees with any other platform.

If you want to see GrooveKart in action then check out the video below.

GrooveVideo

Most online businesses nowadays will need to use videos. Whether it’s a video sales letter on your landing page, or you need to create lots of videos for a paid membership area, ordinarily, video hosting costs can soon add up.

One alternative is to host your videos for free on YouTube. However, the problem with this is, if a site visitor clicks one of your videos then they will leave your landing page and be taken to YouTube.

If this happens then you’ve potentially lost the sale.

GIF by South Park - Find & Share on GIPHY

This is why a lot of marketers pay for a video hosting service like Wistia. However, this can set you back an additional $99 per month.

However, GrooveVideo lets you host all your videos inside your account, for free.

It’s another feature that will save you thousands of dollars in annual fees.

GrooveWebinars

GrooveWebinars is the webinar feature of the all-in-one tool.

The Groove team have aimed to make GrooveWebinars on par with both WebinarJam (live webinar software) and Everwebinar (pre-recorded webinar app).

Given that Mike Filsaime was also a founding member of the two webinar platforms named above, I think we can also expect this feature to be pretty damn good.

GrooveDesk

Another feature I particularly like is GrooveDesk, which is Groove’s support desk app.

Good customer support is critical to an online business, especially if your business model involves selling your own products.

If you need to use a support desk then GrooveDesk will save you hundreds of dollars on a 3rd party support app like ZenDesk.

Since GrooveDesk is located in the same place as GrooveSell, you can directly, and easily manage sales actions like refunds, from the same dashboard which is always nice.

GrooveCalendar

GrooveCalendar is a calendar app that is similar to Calendly.

This app lets you book appointments with your clients, collect payments (through GrooveSell), and manage all your meetings in one place.

Again, having this feature inside of the whole Groove eco-system is also cool as it eliminates the need to use dozens of different software applications.

GrooveSurvey

This feature allows you to send surveys to your audience and collect valuable data from them.

Running surveys will help you get a deeper understanding of the problems our audience is facing, what exactly they are looking for, and even what they think of your business!

You can then tailor your products to solve these problems and increase your conversions.

You’ll be able to run surveys as separate pages which you can send via email, or combine with anything you build in Groove.

GroovePages For Shopify

Something that I find quite cool is that you can also integrate GroovePages with Shopify using a separate app.

This could be useful if you already have a successful E-commerce store on Shopify and don’t want to move it.

When you buy GrooveFunnels, you get access to this app for free, in case you have a store that you don’t want to move to GrooveKart.

GrooveFunnels Support and GrooveAcademy

GrooveFunnels also comes with fantastic support and the GrooveAcademy.

In terms of support, it has:

  • Live Chat Support
  • Email Support
  • Ticketing Support
  • 193+ articles

The only thing that might be missing is phone support, but other than that it has everything.

Besides the help and support that GrooveFunnels offer, you also get access to a considerable amount of training material from Mike Filsaime and John Cornetta themselves.

The cool thing about this is that they don’t only teach you how to use Groove. These expert and highly seasoned marketers also teach you how to get traffic and improve your conversions.

This is pretty awesome, as it’s something that a lot of people struggle with, especially beginners.

So, with Groove, you aren’t just getting an all-in-one funnel builder and business marketing tool. You also get free access to courses and knowledge that is worth thousands.

GrooveFunnels also hold regular webinars to help you get the most out of the platform.

GrooveCommunity

Last but not least, one of my favorite things about Groove is the community behind it.

The Facebook group has over 100,000 active members which also include Groove developers, Mike Filsaime, John Cornetta, and the other founding members as well.

This is great because you will be able to tap into a large group of like-minded people who can help and support you on your journey if you need it.

If you have questions about the platform, you can ask people in the group and they will be happy to help you out. You can also ask for tips on funnel building and marketing if you are looking for extra insight.

GrooveFunnels Pricing

GrooveFunnels have 4 pricing plans.

As I mentioned earlier, GrooveFunnels are one of the only funnel builders to offer a free plan.

Here is the pricing for each plan:

  • Groove Base – Free
  • Groove Silver – $99 per month
  • Groove Gold – $199 per month
  • Groove Platinum $299 per month

Below is a screenshot of the 4 pricing plans, and what you get with each.

The GrooveFunnels pricing list

From the pricing table above, you will see that you get 20% recurring commissions if you are promoting GrooveFunnels as an affiliate and you are on either the Base, Silver or Gold plan.

If you are on the platinum plan you will get 40% recurring commission as well as an additional 10% tier 2 commission.

GrooveFunnels Lifetime Deal

Depending on when you are seeing this review, there might still be time for you to get the GrooveFunnels lifetime deal.

If you’re interested in Groove then this is a great offer.

If you go for the lifetime deal, you will get full access to the Platinum level account for life as well as any upgrades and additions that are made to the software for a one time payment of $1397.

This is a special promotional deal and is only available until GrooveFunnels officially launches in October 2020.

This deal is meant to stop early October, so if this option is still available when you are reading this, I highly recommend you consider it if you would like to have access to a funnel builder and the above listed features.

To put all this in perspective, below is a comparison table of how much all the GrooveApps would cost if you were to pay for them separately.

The Features List

GrooveFunnels Pros and Cons

What Others Say About GrooveFunnels

GrooveFunnels Alternatives

After reading this GrooveFunnels review, you might have found that GrooveFunnels is or isn’t for you. Either way, I would like to show you 3 alternatives that may be better for you.

ClickFunnels

ClickFunnels is probably the most popular alternative. It has over 120,000 customers who love its ease of use, its features, and its vibrant community.

The features don’t quite stack up like GrooveFunnels’ do, but they do have:

  • Funnel/Page building features
  • Membership sites
  • Email automation
  • Affiliate management
  • Extensive marketing training

These are the core features, but it also has a lot of education material and a big community behind it. If you’re looking for a more finished product, instead of one which is still being developed, ClickFunnels could be a good choice for you.

You can try ClickFunnels free for 14 days here.

Kartra

Probably the closest comparable product to GrooveFunnels on the market, Kartra is another all-in-one marketing platform. It promises to have all the SaaS tools you need in one convenient place.

Mike Filsaime was also a founder of this software product but left it to create GrooveFunnels.

Just like ClickFunnels, it’s a bit more of a finished product, meaning you won’t be waiting for any features.

That being said, it doesn’t quite have as many features as GrooveFunnels will have, once it’s fully developed.

Some people say they prefer Kartra, others say that GrooveFunnels is an improved version of it.

If you can’t make up your mind between these two then I recommend you also read my in-depth GrooveFunnels versus Kartra article here.

Something cool about Kartra though, is that every pricing plan has all features available (apart from the Agency feature), so you can enjoy all of them, no matter which pricing plan you’re on.

The main differences between Kartra and GrooveFunnels as of right now are:

  • Kartra has better marketing automation (as of right now)
  • All Kartra’s features are fully developed
  • GrooveFunnels has faster-loading pages
  • GrooveFunnels has more features

If you would like to try it out, you can get a 14-day Kartra trial for $1.

SamCart

The final alternative you may also prefer is SamCart.

SamCart is a lot more focused on checkouts as the name may suggest. It has a page builder too, but it doesn’t have all the other features that GrooveFunnels has.

Although it does win in terms of analytics and, of course, the shopping cart features, it does lack in a lot of other areas when compared to Groove.

We took an in-depth look at this platform recently so if you would like more info about it then you can check out our SamCart review here.

Alternatively, if you want to take it for a test spin, you can get a SamCart free trial here.

Final Thoughts

As necessary as they are nowadays for online businesses, SaaS tools can get pretty expensive.

As we saw in the comparison earlier, you could burn through thousands of dollars per year. With GrooveFunnels, you get access to pretty much everything you need to build a profitable online business for much less than it would usually cost.

However, bear in mind that GrooveFunnels is still in beta, and some of the features are still yet to be made available.

Personally, I do think it is worth investing in GrooveFunnels, but I would recommend you try the free version first to see if you like it.

If you then decide that GrooveFunnels is right for you, then I highly recommend trying to upgrade to the lifetime deal as this will save you thousands of dollars over the months and years to come.

If you would like to check out Groove for yourself, you can click here to join the free version. If you would like to upgrade, you can once you are inside.

GetResponse Review – Is This Autoresponder Worth It?

my GetResponse review image with logo and envelopes

GetResponse is one of the most popular pieces of email marketing software out there.

It goes without saying, there’s quite a bit of hype about it.

I personally also use to use GetResponse several years ago. I didn’t have a problem with it, but I moved away as I needed a more cost-effective solution at the time.

Interestingly, GetResponse have not only added more features to their service, they’ve also re-adjusted their pricing, and it is now far more competitive that it was when I use to use it.

This got me curious…

How can they ADD more tools, and reduce the entry price?

If you have some experience working online yourself as an affiliate, you’ll know that it can be quite hard to find the right autoresponder.

While some have powerful features but aren’t affiliate marketing-friendly, others just don’t perform well.

It can be quite a task to find an autoresponder that can provide everything you need, be easy to use, AND have great deliverability rates.

As you’ll see later in this GetResponse review though, it is by no means a platform only for affiliates. In fact, most GetResponse users are regular business owners. They just also happen to be affiliate-marketing friendly.

GetResponse Review Summary: GetResponse has evolved over the years and has now become much more than an autoresponder. It also offers a CRM, landing pages, and other marketing automation features like their conversion funnel feature. All of these features combine extremely well to help you build high-converting funnels and improve your online presence. Overall, GetResponse is a solid marketing tool.
The GetResponse logo

GetResponse: Pros and Cons

GetResponse Pros:

  • Powerful marketing automation
  • Exclusive features like the conversion funnel can’t be found anywhere else
  • Great support available in several languages
  • Incredibly easy to use – especially the visual automation builder
  • Long list of automation triggers
  • Affiliate-friendly
  • Free resources to help you get started
  • Comprehensive reporting
  • 30 Day Trial (No credit card required)
  • Good deliverability in most tests

GetResponse Cons:

  • Limit of 300 attendees on Webinars (1000 on custom/enterprise pricing)
  • Phone support only available on “Max” plan

What’s Unique About GetResponse?

GetResponse promises to be an all-in-one marketing solution for all kinds of businesses, large and small.

Compared to another market leader Mailchimp, it claims to have more advanced marketing automation features, as well as fairer pricing and more flexibility.

Interestingly, GetResponse has avoided being pigeonholed as “just another autoresponder”, by providing additional features like their conversion funnels and hosted webinars, which I will go into more detail on later in this article.

It can help you to do a lot more than just build an email list.

From my own experience using GetResponse, I also found it very easy to use, which is a big plus in my book.

Who Is GetResponse Best For?

GetResponse serves businesses in a huge number of categories. However, it seems that a lot of people from the following industries are drawn to GetResponse:

  • Agencies
  • Affiliate marketers
  • Ecommerce businesses
  • Content creators
  • Info-product sellers
  • Service-based businesses

The reason it works so well for all of these businesses is that it allows them to stay connected with their customers. All industries benefit from staying connected with people who have previously purchased from them, as it helps them generate repeat sales.

GetResponse helps its users do this with its advanced automation and CRM features.

Plus, nowadays, GetResponse also helps its customers much more with front-end tasks like collecting emails, for example, through their landing page feature.

To add the icing on the cake, it’s also very affordable and has great deliverability rates.

Who Is GetResponse Not For?

GetResponse can be used for a huge variety of online businesses. It would be quite hard to pick a type of business where GetResponse wouldn’t be a good fit, in my opinion.

What I will say is that, if you’re just looking to send broadcast emails, then there are probably more cost-effective solutions out there, like Aweber.

While you can send broadcast emails with GetResponse, I feel like paying for all the other features it has (even on the lowest plan) is not your best option, if you’re purely looking for the newsletter function only.

Ease of Use

GetResponse didn’t used to be as user-friendly as it is now.

They had a huge update to their user interface a few years ago, and since then the user dashboard has become much more easy to navigate.

The intuitive functioning that GetResponse provides means that you will be able to save time on tasks, and actually enjoy the process of working with the dashboard.

This is one thing I particularly like about GetResponse.

If you have a VA working for you and you want them to manage the email marketing side of your business, you should be able to train them pretty quickly on the tasks you need them to do.

“As an online entrepreneur, anything that will save use time always gets extra plus points!”

Creating Webforms & Landing Pages:

Creating web forms and landing pages with GetResponse is very easy and there isn’t really a learning curve at all.

It’s actually pretty self-explanatory and my cat could probably do it. Well, that’s just silly, but you get what I mean. It’s dead easy.

Digital GIF - Find & Share on GIPHY

The forms and landing pages can easily be edited with the drag and drop editor, meaning you can simply select the elements and change them to how you want them to look.

If there is one thing that could be a little easier it’s editing forms and landing pages in the mobile view.

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but when I edit the pages for mobiles, I find it a little harder to edit.

Adding Contacts

Adding contacts on GetResponse is also as easy as it gets.

You can add them manually by adding in the fields like name, email, etc. or you can simply upload a .csv file to bulk upload your contacts.

And of course, you can also collect emails using forms or landing pages which then automatically get added to the list you select.

Creating Automated Campaigns

Creating automation workflows with GetResponse is also easy, probably the easiest from all autoresponders I have used so far.

You select the trigger and drag the next steps into the campaign. There are even some templates available, so if those suit the goals of your campaign, you can use those too.

I find it quite fun and easy to build these from scratch as this way I have more control over my campaigns.

List Segmentation

List segmentation is something that I also love about GetResponse.

Not only are the segmentation features extremely advanced, but they are also very easy to use.

You shouldn’t run into any trouble with list segmentation, as the features are quite easy to understand.

GetResponse Features & Benefits

GetResponse was originally just an autoresponder when it first launched in the very early 2000s.

Today, it’s more of an all-in-one marketing suite for businesses of all sizes.

They cover such a huge list of features that help marketers and entrepreneurs with various marketing tasks that are needed in most businesses.

Autoresponders

The first and probably one of the most basic features of GetResponse is the autoresponder.

It’s a basic autoresponder that lets you send emails on days of your choice after the lead has joined your email list.

Make sure that you are not confusing this feature with automation workflows though.

The autoresponder is the function that lets you send certain emails on days that you choose after the lead has joined your list. Automation workflows, on the other hand, let you segment your list based on the actions of your subscribers, but we’ll talk more about that in a moment.

GetResponse has both of these features anyway.

All you need to do is select an email template, write up the email, and choose the day on which you want the email sent. The process is quick and easy.

Marketing Automation

The second feature inside of GetResponse is a big one, marketing automation, and includes the following important features.

Automation Workflows

Let’s start with the email automation sequences or workflows.

GetResponse comes with a visual automation builder and a huge selection of triggers as we have discussed earlier.

You can build custom automation workflows that put your leads through sequences with custom emails.

There aren’t any limits on what types of sequences you can build and I have not found any type of trigger that is missing.

To give you an idea of some of the triggers, here are just some that you will find in GetResponse:

  • If visited page you configure using pixel
  • Purchased
  • If abandoned cart
  • If contact was added to pipeline
  • If link clicked, message opened, etc

There are many more as well, I just wanted to give you an idea of some of the triggers that you will find inside of GetResponse.

GetResponse automation

CRM Automation

The automation workflows also combine well with the CRM, as using them together you can see exactly how close you are to converting your leads.

Using this tool inside of GetResponse you can also have a clear overview of your contacts and sales in your pipeline.

Of course, not everyone will need a tool like this, but it’s still nice to have the option available to you in case you ever need it.

It’s also nice that you won’t need an external piece of software, as you can manage your sales processes straight from your GetResponse dashboard.

You can also add notes to each lead which is pretty cool, as it can remind you of any special requirements for each lead.

And, you can also sort the importance or activate triggers based on the deal value which could be useful, as it allows you to only focus on the deals that matter the most.

Recap of GetResponse Marketing Automation

Overall, GetResponse has some pretty good marketing automation features.

Here’s a quick recap of what GetResponse marketing automation has to offer:

  • Advanced, yet easy to use automation workflows
  • Advanced Triggers
  • CRM with easy to use sales pipelines and automated tasks

GetResponse Email Templates

As you would probably expect from an autoresponder with the caliber of GetResponse, you also get some sweet email templates too.

GetResponse comes with a huge selection of templates, and by huge I mean… over 500 email templates. That’s the most I’ve ever come across in an autoresponder service.

The templates also have a nice variety and range, from templates tailored towards cooking, to B2B templates.

“The template selection does not disappoint, to say the least.”

Having said this, I often avoid using colorful templates with complex structures. These can sometimes have heavy picture HTML code which can cause the email to get syphoned into the promotions folder.

Of course, that is not always the case, but it is worth noting if you are going to use templates.

This is the case for all autoresponders by the way, not just GetResponse.

Analytics

GetResponse has comprehensive analytics, not just for the broadcasts, but also for pretty much any feature you can think of.

They also have this cool feature which allows you to track the ROI of an email.

I like this feature because it just saves so much time when counting the numbers of your email marketing campaigns.

Another thing that I like about the analytics of GetResponse is that the data it displays is very visual which makes it much easier to gain a clear overview of how your emails are performing.

Again, overall GetResponse performs quite strongly in this aspect as it gives you a lot of data in a clear overview.

Split-Testing

When using GetResponse, you can split-test almost any component of your campaign. Thi is a very important feature if you want to improve your open and conversion rates.

For example, this includes your landing page, your subject lines, and the content of your emails. You can configure an automatic winner based on percentages to help you save time.

For example, you can split-test an email with 3 variants and configure an automatic winner based on the number of your contacts who have opened the email. You can also set up custom percentages to pick winners.

This is extremely useful to help you pick a clear winner. Doing so will help you tweak to make you email campaign convert at its best.

Landing Page Creator

The landing page creator inside of GetResponse is quite slick too.

It comes with over 150 landing page templates that can easily be edited through the drag and drop builder.

The builder itself also has a lot of elements allowing users to build many types of pages.

Some examples of elements include:

  • Videos/Images
  • Carts
  • Paypal buy buttons
  • Share buttons
  • Custom HTML

I was also really surprised to see that the GetResponse page builder also allows you to use important conversion tools such as countdown timers and even one-click-upsell pages!

Usually, a person would need to also invest in a third party page builder like ClickFunnels or SamCart to get these types of features.

Having said that, I haven’t tested the conversion capabilities of a GetResponse landing page compared to one of these third party services, but it’d be a great test to find out how it performs!

With engaging templates, an easy to use drag & drop builder, and a great selection of templates, I think it’s fair to say that GetResponse has a solid page builder.

You can see more info about the GetResponse landing page creator here.

Webinar Hosting

GetResponse also lets you host both free and paid webinars.

As I did mention in the cons section at the start of this review, there is a limit of 300 webinar viewers, unless you are on the max plan, which is the plan with custom pricing.

On the max plan, this limit is between 500 and 1000 viewers.

Either way, it’s likely that even 300 viewers will be enough for most small businesses.

What I like about GetResponse webinars is that they also have built-in polls and tests which make it easy for your webinars to get a little more engagement.

You can also promote your products or services and add files to the webinars for your attendees to interact with. This would be useful if you are selling your higher-ticket products on the back end of the webinar.

Another thing that’s cool about the GetResponse webinars is that you can set it to stream on YouTube or Facebook as well which will help you expand your reach.

There is also a range of other cool webinar features including:

  • Screen sharing
  • Interactive white-boards
  • Storage up to 20 hours
  • Multiple presenters
  • Add Facebook pixels for retargeting
  • Automated nurturing campaigns

The GetResponse webinar feature offers everything a normal webinar software would do too.

Having this available on the same dashboard as your email marketing and CRM tools is pretty nice, and gives you an easy way to integrate your webinars with your autoresponder.

GetResponse hosted webinars

Conversion Funnel

Finally, we’re onto probably my favorite feature inside of GetResponse, the conversion funnel feature.

This feature was also formerly known as the “auto funnel” feature. This GetResponse feature is a template to help you build your entire marketing funnel.

Basically, it takes all of the other GetResponse features, and structures them in a way that makes it easy for you to get a clear overview of what you need to.

Not only that, but you can also track the ROI of your funnel which is also very important. Afterall, if you don’t have clarity on what’s working for you in your business then it can be hard to scale.

This has been one of my favorite new features, as it can help you to have both a clear overview of how you need to have things structured, and a deeper insight into what’s working the best for you.

GetResponse Deliverability

When I used GetResponse, I found their deliverability to be very good. In fact, it has one of the better deliverability rates among all the autoresponders I have tried so far.

Of course, deliverability is important for all types of businesses, and should be one of the main concerns when choosing an autoresponder.

When it comes to affiliate-friendly autoresponders though, sometimes their deliverability rates can suffer just because some of your emails contain affiliate links. However, in my experience, this didn’t seem to be the case with GetResponse.

According to SenderScore.org, GetResponse has a 99% deliverability rate across all tests. You can find more information on that here.

However, I did also find another 3rd party test by emailtoolstester.com (1) where GetResponse only performed around the average with a 75.6% rate, which is about an industry average.

Given my personal experiences with GetResponse, and this other test by emailtooltester.com, I’m not sure how accurate the SenderScore.org test is, but I thought I would mention it just to give you a full picture.

Plus, if you follow the best practices for getting your emails delivered you shouldn’t run into any issues.

Web Forms

Just like most pieces of email marketing software, you can also create web forms directly in your GetResponse dashboard.

If you use WordPress, then you’ll be happy to know that these forms are also very easy to integrate with this content management system. However, you can also just as easily grab the HTML code of the forms to embed them into any page you wish.

The forms are nice and easy to create using the drag and drop editor as we did mention earlier. Other than that, there isn’t too much to say about them, as they are quite standard for autoresponders.

Segmentation

GetResponse lets you segment your list in numerous ways to help you send more targeted emails.

This includes:

  • Custom fields (i.e basically anything that you configure)
  • Behavior (in automation sequences)
  • Demographics
  • Product preferences
  • Engagement
  • Geography
  • Website Activity
  • Purchase frequency

By segmenting based on these factors, you can send much more targeted emails to your customers.

For example, if it’s thanksgiving, you can send everyone from the US, who visited your thank you page but didn’t purchase, an email with a discount offer.

That’s just an example, but there are some really creative ways you can use the segmentation feature that GetResponse has to offer.

If you were to think about how you could use this feature in your own business, I’m sure you, like me, can easily see how you could leverage this feature to send more targeted offers to your list and increase your revenue.

Tags & Custom Fields

Tags also help you segment your list. You can apply them at the start of a campaign, or further down the line. They’re a great way to split your list based on whether the customer has a certain tag.

For example, you can apply a tag named “purchased X product” to every customer who has purchased from you.

Then, later on, you can send everyone who doesn’t have that tag an offer with a bonus without annoying the people who have already purchased this particular product from you.

This is a basic example of this feature, and GetResponse lets you tag on many more events including abandoned carts.

Of course, it goes without saying that using tags in this way is another great way to increase your revenue by getting some of your customers to return to their shopping cart and complete a purchase.

Custom fields are what you use when you need your customer to submit custom requirements on their orders. For example, if you are selling T-shirts using GetResponse, you might need your customer to submit their T-shirt size which they can do with this feature.

Integrations

GetResponse also has a pretty big list of integrations.

This list includes over 140 external software apps including the most popular E-commerce platforms, landing page builders, membership area platforms, and so forth.

If an app that you want to integrate with is not on the list then GetResponse also integrates with Zapier. Once you’ve connected to Zapier, you can pretty much connect to anything you want to.

For advertising, you can also hook up your GetResponse account with Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

Besides YouTube, it also directly integrates with Vimeo and Wistia, too. This can be useful if you want to assign tags based on video watch time, and see clearly exactly how much of a particular video your leads have watched.

For example, you can set these tags on a sales video and find out exactly how much of the video gets watched. If you discover that a lot of people seem to switch off at a certain point, then you know you need to make a change to that video to improve the watch time, and ultimately, the conversion of that particular video.

GDPR

If your business operates out of the EU, or if you serve EU customers, then you’ll be pleased to hear that GetResponse is also committed to having a GDPR-compliant platform. They do this by providing you with special fields that help their users stay compliant.

If you want to know more about GetResponse and GDPR, you can check this resource on their site here.

Support

GetResponse support is quick and easy from my experience. Even though they don’t offer phone support unless you are on the max plan, they do have a very responsive team on the other end of live chat 24/7, 365 days of the year.

Personally, whenever I needed to reach out to their support team, I never needed to wait more than a minute or two for someone to jump on and help me out.

While having the option of phone support is nice, it’s not a big deal not to have it in my opinion if they have 24/7 live chat support in place.

Basically, whatever plan you’re on, you do always have access to help, and you can get it quickly if you need it.

What Other Users Say About GetResponse

It’s all very well reading my opinion here in this GetResponse review, but I’m sure you, like me, also want to hear about what other people have to say as well.

From what I have seen, they are mostly positive overall, with an average Capterra (a review site) rating of 4.1/5. Some of the 1-star reviews seem quite questionable in my opinion, as many of the users state themselves that their actions went against the T&C’s.

Other than that, there are mostly just 5-star reviews of users explaining what’s great about the software.

Besides reading customer reviews, you also get the additional safety net of the GetResponse 30 day free trial without needing to enter your credit card details if you do decide to try them out for yourself.

What I Like About GetResponse

What I like about GetResponse is that it offers an all-in-one marketing platform for businesses of all sizes.

It’s not the cheapest autoresponder you can find, but it’s also by no means the most expensive. It’s actually very affordable, especially considering all the features they offer.

GetResponse also has a solid deliverability rate, so you know that the majority of your emails will actually end up where they’re supposed to.

I also really like the fact that GetResponse is affiliate-friendly. There are not many autoresponders that are high caliber, that provide such great features, are affordable, and also allow you to place affiliate links directly in your emails.

What I Don’t Like About GetResponse

There isn’t a lot to complain about GetResponse, in my opinion. Overall, it does what it does extremely well.

The two cons that I mentioned at the beginning of the article (300 webinar attendees & no phone support on the lower plans) are not things that matter to me.

Other than that, the only thing that I would say is the editing of landing pages in mobile view. I feel like it could just be a little easier to use, but then again, maybe that’s just me.

GetResponse Pricing

The GetResponse pricing mainly varies based on the number of contacts that you have.

It’s a sliding scale, so for the full pricing details based on your number of subs, you can check out their website here.

Below, are the plans for up to 1,000 subscribers, if you pay monthly.

On the [official website], you will also find annual discounts for up to 30% if you don’t mind paying up front.

Personally, I’d use them for a few months first on the monthly plan, then, if you’re happy to stay with them, opt to pay for the year up front and get the additional discount.

Basic, $15 per month

Included in the basic plan are the following features:

The GetResponse pricing table

GetResponse Alternatives

To give you a better choice, I also want to cover a few GetResponse alternatives that might be better for you.

Aweber

First of all, you might also choose Aweber which is another popular autoresponder, but compared to GetResponse, it’s quite basic.

It has basic automation workflows, basic landing pages, forms, and segmentation.

Aweber is also affiliate marketing-friendly and they even have a free plan.

If you’re on a budget or are just looking for basic email automation features, it may be an option to consider.

I’ve used Aweber before and have been very happy with them. They’re cheaper than GetResponse and they also have excellent support.

You can check out Aweber’s pricing here.

SendLane

SendLane is another affiliate-friendly autoresponder.

It’s quite similar to GetResponse as it offers features like ROI and conversion tracking.

The pricing plans start at $99 per month (5K contacts), so it’s a bit more expensive than Get Response. Having said that, they do have an attractively priced starter plan for new customers.

That being said, the cost of the plans are pretty reasonable considering the value they offer.

If you want to know more about this platform then you can read my in-depth review of SendLane here.

Alternatively, you can check out SendLane’s page here.

MailerLite

Lastly, we have MailerLite which is NOT affiliate marketing-friendly, so make sure to keep that in mind if affiliate is a core part of your business.

MailerLite probably has the best free plan on the market, as even the free plan comes with automation sequences. That’s pretty rare.

It doesn’t have quite as advanced features as GetResponse or SendLane, but it does have the basics.

I think MailerLite could be a good option if you perhaps have an eCom business, promoting affiliate offers is not a core part of what you do, and if you don’t need the advanced features that GetResponse and SendLane offer.

You can check out MailerLite’s pricing here.

If you still want to check out more email marketing solutions then I recommend you read my article on the best email autoresponder services next.

Final Thoughts

Finding an autoresponder that is powerful, low-cost, and has a good deliverability rate can be quite hard. Depending on the complexity of your business, there can be a ton of things to consider.

This is especially the case if you’re in the affiliate marketing business as you also need to make sure that the platform you choose will not shut you down for including affiliate offers in some of your emails.

The problem is that if you don’t have an autoresponder that fits the bill, your business will probably not reach its full potential as email marketing is so important.

GetResponse doesn’t only fit the bill for most businesses, it also does what it does extremely well. It has arguably the most powerful automation features on the market, strong deliverability, and also comes at an affordable price.

I must admit I’m a big fan of it and so are 350,000 other customers. If you would like to check it out for yourself, you can get a 30-day free trial here.

SendLane Review – Does It Live Up To The Hype?

a computer showing SendLane review features

Email marketing — love it or hate it, it’s a necessity for any online business that wants to thrive.

A lot of small-time and beginner marketers avoid using email in the beginning. It can seem daunting, time-consuming and expensive. But take it from the, the earlier you can start building a list, the better off you will be further down the line.

If you’re gonna incorporate email marketing into your business (and you definitely should if you want to build a scalable, long-term asset) then you will need to use an autoresponder service.

Besides now being a legal requirement for email marketing, using an autoresponder will also make your list building efforts considerably easier. Unfortunately, many fall short, in my opinion — I’ve tried quite a few of them.

In the past, I’ve found myself settling for “good enough,” but since this is such an important part of my business, I am always on the look-out for the next best autoresponder to test out.

It’s a marketers dream to find that holy grail solution — something that’s easy to use and affiliate marketing friendly with exceptional deliverability rates.

The latest contender for the cup? SendLane. Is it a good fit for your online business, too? Let’s find out. This SendLane review will cover everything you need to know about this up-and-coming automated marketing solution.

If you’d prefer to watch a video demo of SendLane so you can see everything it can do in real-time then you can watch this SendLane demo here.

Things to Consider Before Buying an Autoresponder

Like most things in business — and life — finding the right option for you depends heavily on your preferences and needs.

Where SendLane really shines is in its simplicity of use and exceptional deliverability rates.

However, if you’re a marketer who handles massive campaigns for large organizations, then SendLane may not provide all the features you need. In this case, you may be better off with a higher-priced service that offers more automation, analytics, and bells and whistles, such as HubSpot.

However, if you’re looking for a powerful tool that’s easy to use and excels at its core features — email broadcasts, automation, and outstanding deliverability rates — SendLane might be perfect for you.

It’s an excellent fit for small to medium-sized businesses, and affiliate marketers looking for a simple user interface with plenty of automation options.

Yes, SendLane is affiliate marketing friendly! I heard this directly from the horse’s mouth, so to speak.

This is a big consideration if affiliate marketing is a core part of your business. Unfortunately, most autoresponder services don’t like affiliates and will shut you down for simply including an affiliate link in your emails. It’s happened to me…

Still not sure if SendLane autoresponder is right for you? Consider the following while you read through the rest of this SendLane review.

  • The number of customers: How many emails will you be sending out, and how often?
  • The complexity of the rules: Are you satisfied with basic features like timed sending, or do you need to get fancier?
  • Analytics: Make sure you choose an autoresponder that provides you with focused analytics reports, instead of overwhelming you with unnecessary stats.
  • GDPR-compliant: Make sure that you stay on the right side of the law and protect your customers’ privacy.

SendLane: A Closer Look

SendLane is an easy-to-use autoresponder with some very high-end tools. It features advanced contact tagging, which allows the system to automatically group subscribers by geographic region, or pretty much any other criteria you desire.

Advanced list-building options such as this are fantastic to give your marketing efforts a laser-focus with precise market targeting.

These features alone can considerably improve both your open and your conversion rates.

Its simple interface also makes it a fantastic option for novice marketers or people running their own businesses who need to handle the marketing on their own.

In my opinion, it does take a bit of time to fully understand the system, but the results are well worth it. Having said that, all the autoresponder services I have used to date do have a bit of a learning curve.

SendLane Features and Benefits

Sendlane features

By now, you probably want to know more detailed info on SendLane’s features and benefits. So here goes…

Drag and Drop Editor

One of the features I like the most about SendLane is its simple to use drag and drop editor. It makes creating visually ravishing emails simple and hassle-free, which I find fun, and a big time-saver.

You can choose from a wide variety of email elements and customize them in any way you see fit to best represent your brand and help your conversions.

There are currently about 20 templates, which is about standard among popular autoresponders in 2020.

While you can customize these, I do wish SendLane offered a slightly more extensive catalog of options. It’s not a deal-breaker though as you can also create your own templates from scratch if you want to.

Landing Page Creator

If you want more than just an email editor, you’ll appreciate SendLane’s landing page creator. Unlike the email editor, you get over 50 templates to choose from with an impressive range of designs.

This is a great feature as it can save you money on third-party page builders like ClickFunnels, depending on your needs, of course.

Some templates even include countdown timers, videos, and pop-ups, which is really cool. However, I struggled to figure out how to add them to other templates.

Some people may appreciate this feature, but if you’re looking strictly for an email tool, chances are you won’t use this feature at all.

Advanced Contact Tagging and Automation

SendLane goes well beyond ‘drip-feed’ email functionality and lets you set up workflows that change your email delivery depending on what your subscribers do.

You can also tag subscribers based on where they live, their sign-up source, the device they use, and pretty much any other custom tag you can think of.

Even better, this incredibly powerful functionality is very simple to set up and use, even if you’re new to the world of marketing.

For me, this is one of the most important considerations when it comes to choosing an autoresponder. If it’s intuitive and easy to use then it’s a big plus in my book.

SendLane automation

Standard Reporting and Analytics

Most marketing software gives you plenty of analytics to chew over, and SendLane is no different, offering data on:

  • Open rates
  • Click through rates
  • Bounce rates
  • Your most active subscribers with the highest open rates
  • People who unsubscribed, and their stated reason

Most of these analytics work in real-time, so you’ll always have an up-to-date view of what’s going on in your marketing campaign — without being overwhelmed.

SendLane provides a manageable amount of data presented in an easy-to-read format. Because of this, it is so much easier to act on your data to make improvements where you need to.

Data analytics

What I particularly like about the data the SendLane provides is that you can set up all your different campaigns and have it track all the clicks and conversions on your website as well as the conversions that come directly from your emails, as you can see below.

SendLane’s data can even help you track all the clicks and sales that are coming from each of your email campaigns, and report on how much each subscriber has spent with you.

As you can see from the screenshot below, this subscriber made a purchase via email of $99.

This is super powerful, especially if you run an eCom business or if you create your own digital products!

Automatically Optimized Send Times

Unlike many autoresponders that ask you to figure out the best time to send your emails, SendLane will optimize the process for you, which is awesome!

The program analyses previous email open rates and suggests the perfect time to send the next one.

Best of all, you can set up this functionality on an individual email basis, tailoring every single person’s experience to their particular habits, if you want to go that deep. Alternatively, you can save time and just let SendLane optimize the whole sending process for you.

Creating a List of Contracts

Lists are key to customizing your email campaigns.

SendLane lets you add contacts to as many lists as you like, and duplicates don’t count towards your contact limit.

This is important to be aware of as some autoresponders like Aweber will count contacts multiple times if they are subscribed to more than one of your lists. This means that you will quickly reach your subscriber limit and then need to upgrade to a higher priced plan. But with SendLane, you don’t need to worry about this.

You can even set different rules for each list, giving you granular control over your entire subscriber base.

Once you’ve set up your lists, you can also automate adding new subscribers to each particular list as they sign up.

SendLane allows you to create a form for new sign-ups or integrate your existing website API in some cases.

Email Broadcasts in SendLane

Email broadcasts are the bread and butter of email marketing, and SendLane’s process is streamlined and simple.

The broadcast tool gives you over 20 marketing templates along with customization for when to send out the email.

Email Automation in SendLane

We’ve touched upon this briefly when discussing automation, but SendLane offers a very powerful workflow tool that allows you to send emails in a very focused manner.

Workflow setup is pretty simple — you can either start with a template or from scratch.

Not only does SendLane have a comprehensive list of triggers, but it also allows for if/else functionality, which is pretty powerful.

If/else workflows let you customize your workflow even further. The simple flow-chart layout makes understanding the process significantly easier for people just starting in marketing.

advanced automation in SendLane

API and Integrations

API, or ‘application programming interface,’ is a method for a particular program to talk with other programs.

If you want to integrate SendLane functionality with another program, you can use their well-documented API to do so quite easily.

SendLane also allows other programs to talk to it, such as Shopify, WooCommerce, and ClickBank.

They are still working on adding more integrations with other common platforms, like WordPress, which is surprisingly still missing. However, if you use Zapier then you can integrate SendLane with pretty much anything.

Onboarding

SendLane takes the ‘throw them in the deep end’ approach to onboarding, in that they don’t offer any form of tutorial, which is a shame.

Luckily, the user interface is simple to use, and the processes streamlined enough that you should be able to figure it out by yourself.

If you feel entirely lost, then you can click the red help button to contact customer support or check out some SendLane tutorials on YouTube.

Automation

Naturally, an autoresponder has to hit automation out of the park.

SendLane provides plenty of robust automation tools with a simple user interface to make your life easier.

The platform’s workflows are clear and effective. In my opinion, it provides everything that most digital marketers will need.

Deliverability

SendLane has a very aggressive list culling and hygiene processes in place to reduce the number of dead or false email addresses you have to deal with and pay for during a campaign.

The program also generates easy-to-follow deliverability reports, allowing you to see how many of your emails are actually delivered.

You can see exactly how SendLane’s deliverability compares to its competitors in this SendLane comparison chart here.

Ease of Use

Despite the lack of onboarding, SendLane is surprisingly easy to use. Even its most powerful features are simple to figure out.

With plenty of click-and-drag functionality and clear visuals, most users, even beginner marketers will probably get the hang of things on the first use.

Social Proof

While I could go on about the features I liked and didn’t like about SendLane, it’s also worthwhile to find out what other people think.

I scoured the internet to find out what people on the ground, such as entrepreneurs and small business owners, think of SendLane.

Most people overall seemed to like it a lot.

The reviews weren’t glowing across the board — I’d question their authenticity if they were — but, overall, SendLane reviews are quite positive.

Here are some of the SendLane reviews I found from business owners and marketers:

SendLane Pricing

As you no doubt understand by now, SendLane offers way above average functionality and provides several ways to help you increase your subscriber base and generate higher revenue from your campaigns.

Due to this, and the additional new features that SendLane have added to their service, they have recently changed their pricing structure.

Perviously, SendLane’s starting price was $25 per month, which was about middle of the road compared to its competitors.

While SendLane’s new pricing structure is higher, they do offer a very attractive starter bundle for new members, which is $497 for the year. This works out at just over $41 per month.

While this can seem like a lot to beginner marketers, those who have been in business for a while and understand the importance of the features that SendLane offer will likely see this as a great deal.

On the starter plan you get everything on SendLane’s more expensive growth plan for your first 6 months.

Below is a screenshot of their pricing table.

You can see SendLane’s full pricing page here.

SendLane Alternatives

SendLane offers a heaping plate of appealing features, but if it doesn’t meet your needs, there are plenty of other more time-tested autoresponders out there.

Here are some alternatives that you may also want to consider.

Aweber

The main difference between the two is the presentation and price.

While SendLane definitely has more advanced automation features, Aweber offers quite a few more templates, as well as a more competitive starting cost. This can be appealing for beginners who don’t need fancy automation processes.

It is a superb option for small businesses who want to dip their toe into email marketing without spending too much money.

SendLane, however, is a better option for marketers who want more powerful automation and a few nice extras that Aweber doesn’t have.

Aweber:

  • More affordable–starts at $19/month
  • Larger support team
  • More standard email templates
  • Affiliate marketing friendly

SendLane:

  • Comes with a landing page builder
  • Better automation features
  • $25/month starting price

If you’re looking for an email-focused product with plenty of support and a more affordable starting price, check out Aweber here.

GetResponse

GetResponse is an industry leader when it comes to email marketing. It’s the ideal solution for large-scale operations that handle thousands of emails per day and companies that want an all-in-one solution.

SendLane is a more customized tool that’s perfect for smaller businesses, e-commerce owners, and digital agencies that need powerful automation without many other marketing tools.

GetResponse:

  • High deliverability
  • Customized plans for added flexibility and scalability
  • GetResponse has been on the market for years, with the track record to prove it
  • Affiliate marketing friendly

SendLane:

  • Approachable and user-friendly interface
  • Email timing optimization
  • Tagging and list-based automation

If you want a cheaper starting price option than SendLane with similar functionality, GetResponse may be the right choice for you. Check out GetResponse here.

Mailer Lite

If you want an autoresponder that is very low priced and even has a free forever plan, but with good functionality then Mailer Lite is a good option.

It’s important to note that it’s not affiliate marketing friendly, but if your business does not revolve around promoting affiliate offers then this is not a problem.

One work-around to using an autoresponder that does not allow you to put affiliate links directly in the emails is to create a landing page with your affiliate link, and then link to the landing page from your emails.

As mentioned earlier, autoresponder service offers a free forever plan with limited functionality. However, when you do start paying, it is considerably cheaper than many other options on the market.

Pricing starts at just $15 per month for up to 2,500 subs! This starting plan also comes with unlimited user accounts and you can send an unlimited number of emails. It is also easy to use, which makes it a great choice for beginners.

Mailer Lite:

  • Free forever plan
  • Easy to use
  • Send unlimited emails on the lowest price plan
  • Not affiliate friendly

SendLane:

  • Better automation for personalized email marketing
  • Primarily built for affiliates and B2C businesses
  • Provides useful analytics data and web activity tracking

If you run an eCommerce, drop-ship, or digital product business, you’ll appreciate the powerful features that Mailer Lite brings. You can check out Mailer Lite here.

Summing It Up: SendLane in Review

Email marketing is a highly valuable lead generation tool, and is a cornerstone of any successful online business. However, if you’re using a sub-par, or even just the wrong autoresponder for your needs then email marketing can become a headache.

As you can see from the features that SendLane has to offer, it can simplify your digital marketing efforts, free up your time, and help you to generate more customers, and increase profits.

In my opinion, SendLane offers an excellent solution for small to medium businesses. It is intuitive and easy to work with that anyone can use it effectively in a short space of time. It also has plenty of powerful features that are usually only available on superior autoresponder services at higher prices.

If you’re interested in trying out SendLane then you will be pleased to know that they do have a 14-day free trial. While you will need to enter your credit cart info to sign up for the free trial, you can cancel at any time before the end of the 14 days and you will not be charged.

If you’d like to try out this autoresponder service then you can get a 14-day free trial here.

CartFlows Review – Is This Funnel Builder Plugin For WordPress Any Good?

My CartFlows WordPress plugin review

There’s no doubt about it, online businesses need an optimized sales funnel if they are going to survive and thrive in today’s markets.

Businesses are literally losing money every day without one.

However, there’s so much choice when it comes to choosing a funnel builder.

Since most of them have a few unique features and are better suited to certain types of businesses, it can be difficult to know which one is best for you.

Here I break down the features of this new WordPress funnel builder and explain exactly what you get when you buy CartFlows.

In this article, I will also tell you who this WordPress funnel builder plugin is good for and who might be better off using an alternative.

If you’re in a hurry and you want to get straight to it then you can check out the CartFlows cost and features here.

What Is CartFlows?

CartFlows is basically a sales funnel plugin for WordPress.

This continually evolving plugin allows you to create optimized funnels to increase your conversions and make more money in your business.

It was created by hardcore WordPress users, Adam Preiser (WP Crafter) and Surjay Pawer (Brainstorm Force), out of frustration at the limitations of the sales and checkout process of WooCommerce.

By using this new funnel builder plugin, website owners can now create effective funnels with up-sell, down-sell and OTO pages and take complete control of the look and functioning of the whole checkout process.

With over 10,000 active CartFlows users, this funnel builder plugin is quickly growing in popularity.

What Kind Of Funnels Can You Build With The CartFlows Plugin?

CartFlows is a dynamic plugin and you can use it to create just about any type of funnel you want. However, for some funnels, you will also need to use additional 3rd party plugins.

It is, of course, a good benefit that CartFlows can integrate with other WordPress plugins. However, for me, the fact that you have to use additional plugins to build some types (not all) of funnels is a negative, in my opinion.

Personally, I would prefer all the core functionality to be under one roof since you will not need to take the extra time to learn how to use new plugins as well as going through the learning curve with CartFlows.

Having said that, the plugin is still relatively new. Adam and Surjay are planning to record more “how-to” videos over time, so this should largely solve the issue.

Here’s a list of some of the more popular funnels people are building with this plugin:

  • Lead funnels
  • Product launch funnels
  • Membership funnels
  • Free quote funnels
  • Consulting funnels
  • Webinar funnels
  • Demo funnels
  • Application funnels

This is, by no means an exhaustive list. As I said earlier, you can pretty much build any type of funnel using this plugin.

CartFlows Plugin Features – What You Can Do With This Funnel Builder

Having looked at CartFlows, it is actually a decent competitor to leading funnel builder brands like ClickFunnels and InfusionSoft.

I particularly like that there is a free version of the plugin, however, it does, of course, have limited functionality.

On the other hand, with the pro version, you get a whole range of features.

Here are the main features that you can use:

Use Customizable Templates

There are customizable templates available with both the free and Pro version. However, at the moment they are fairly limited.

You get access to 4 free templates straight out of the box. However, there are also an additional 6 premium templates if the free ones don’t quite do it for you.

Although this may seem very limited in comparison to an alternative funnel builder like ClickFunnels, you can do a lot with these templates since they are fully customizable.

Upsell and Downsell Pages

Using an upsell and a down-sell in your funnel sequence can greatly increase the amount of money you can earn from each customer.

I particularly like the free templates feature as this is a big time-saver when it comes to building your funnel.

You can simply select a template, insert it into the correct place in your funnel, and then customize it how you want.

With CartFlows Pro, all the pages are fully customizable.

Use Order Bumps

Another great feature of any funnel builder worth its salt is the ability to use order bumps on your checkout pages.

Order bumps are great as they can significantly increase the cart value of your customers.

You can use this to give your customers the option to buy an additional related product at a discount, provide the option to buy additional units of a product, offer a warranty and so forth.

Customizable Checkout

If you’ve been using WooCommerce then I’m sure you’ve also felt frustrated at the lack of customization you get on the checkout page.

Fortunately, CartFlows allows you to customize all the checkout fields and take full control of the sales process.

Abandon Cart Feature

This Pro feature is essential whenever you’re selling something online.

On average, around 65% of people abandon an online shopping cart before they pay for the goods. This is a huge waste!

With CartFlows Pro, once they’ve passed the step of entering their email address, if they do abandon the cart then the plugin will follow up with them periodically on your behalf and encourage them to complete their purchase.

Can Use With Popular Page Builders

If you’re using a WordPress page builder like Elementor, Divi, or Thrive Architect then CartFlows will work for you without a hitch.

The plan is to eventually make it compatible with all WordPress page builders. While it does now work with most of them, I’m not sure if it functions with all of them.

If you want to find out if it will work with your specific page builder then you can contact CartFlows support here.

Use Custom Scripts

If you want to get more functionality then you can use the custom script option.

By simply pasting in your custom code you can get CartFlows to do a whole range of extra things for you.

Who Is CartFlows Great For?

If you’re a WordPress user then CartFlows is a good option for you since it will integrate nicely with the rest of your business.

Being a WordPress user will mean that you will likely find CartFlows very easy to use.

It’s also great for people who are on a budget as they can start off on the free plan.

However, having said that, the Pro account is also very reasonably priced compared to its competitors.

So, if you have a WordPress website and you want to collect more leads, sell digital or physical products, promote a webinar, sell a course, sell services or even just provide free quotes to your website visitors then CartFlows Pro will be a great option for you.

Who Is CartFlows Not Good For?

If you do not use WordPress and you have no intention of building a WordPress website then CartFlows is not for you.

However, don’t worry, there are many other solutions on the market that may fit your needs perfectly.

In this case, I would recommend you to check out ClickFunnels, Kartra, and SamCart.

CartFlows – What I Like About It

Integrates With WordPress

It integrates directly with WordPress and is, therefore, a great solution for anyone who has built their business around a WordPress website.

Since around 35% of websites are now built on WordPress, this is a great advantage for those businesses. However, not so much for businesses that operate from different platforms.

Integrates With All WordPress Plugins

Another advantage over some of the competitors like ClickFunnels or Kartra, for example, is that it integrates with other WordPress plugins.

This dynamic feature allows you to expand the functionality of CartFlows.

Integrates With WooCommerce

It also integrates directly with the popular WooCommerce plugin for WordPress.

So, if you’re running an eCommerce store on WordPress and you need a funnel then CartFlows is also a great choice for you.

Supports Upsells, Downsells

If you are using the CartFlows Pro plan then you will also be able to build funnels with upsells and down-sells.

This feature can increase your revenue considerably as it gives your customers the chance to buy more from you in a single transaction.

However, bear in mind that this feature is only available on the Pro account.

Integrates With Facebook Tracking Pixel

Retargeting is a highly effective online marketing strategy. Fortunately, the plugin also allows you to integrate with the Facebook tracking pixel for retargeting.

Abandoned Cart Feature

Another feature that will help you to increase your revenue is the abandoned cart feature.

Shockingly, the average cart abandonment rate is 67.57%. That’s a lot of money left on the table!

The abandoned cart feature works by following up with your customers through email who choose to abandon their cart before they make their purchase.

This is an important feature for any business that is selling physical, digital, or service-based products online.

Easy To Use

If you’re familiar with WordPress at all then you’ll likely find CartFlows easy to use.

They also have a good amount of set-up and training videos to show you how to get set up.

CartFlows – What I Don’t Like

Of course, like any platform, there are always some downsides too. Here’s what I don’t like so much about CartFlows.

Membership Areas Need An Additional WordPress Plugin Or External Solution

If you want to build a members area for your business then you will need to use a separate WordPress plugin or an external solution like Teachable or Kajabi.

Fortunately, it is more than possible to use CartFlows to create a membership funnel with one of these options, but for me, this is a minus point.

The reason I see this as a negative is that:

  1. You need to pay for an additional software solution
  2. You may also need to go through another learning curve with the software solution you choose

While other CartFlows alternatives like ClickFunnels and Kartra may be more expensive, they also provide you with the member’s area feature already included.

Another option for WordPress users would be to use ThriveApprentice, which is a plugin that comes with a ThriveThemes subscription.

ThriveThemes is priced within the same ballpark as CartFlows and also provides additional premium plugins with your membership, including their membership area solution, ThriveApprentice.

Cannot Share Funnels With Other Users

Being able to clone a funnel and share it with another user is a big advantage in my opinion.

Not only does it speed up the entire funnel building process, but you can also create funnels for your clients within your account then transfer them upon sale.

So far, the only platforms I have come across that offer this option is ClickFunnels and Kartra.

However, if you don’t need this function in your business then it is not a problem for you.

CartFlows Cost

There are two different plans to choose from, the free plan and CartFlows Pro. Here are the details of the two plans.

CartFlows Free

CartFlows offers free as well as a paid plan.

Of course, on the free plan, you will be limited in what you can do with it. However, there is actually a decent amount of functionality in this plan.

Here’s what you get access to on the free plan:

  • Access to 4 funnel page templates
  • Access to checkout pages
  • Access to thank you pages

So, if you only need a simple funnel then the free plan might work for you.

Offering the free plan is a smart move since it allows you to check out the features it offers and see for yourself just how easy it is to use.

Once you see what it can do for you then you may be tempted to upgrade to Pro so you can earn even more money from your site visitors.

CartFlows Pro

The CartFlows Pro plan is very competitively priced at $299 per year.

On the CartFlows Pro plan, you get access to all the bells and whistles.

Here’s what you can do with the Pro plan:

  • Access to premium level templates
  • Use an unlimited number of funnels
  • Use conversion-focused checkout pages
  • Edit your checkout pages
  • Provide visitors with special offers
  • Use order bumps
  • Up-sell and down-sell features
  • Abandoned cart technology
  • Full user support
  • Access to the CartFlows community
  • How-to video guides

Comparing the two plans, you can see that you do, in fact, get a lot for your money when you choose to buy CartFlows Pro.

I particularly like the up-sell, down-sell, and order bump features, as well as the conversion-focused checkout pages as these features, can increase your revenue dramatically.

Being able to edit your checkout pages is also an important feature to have, in my opinion.

CartFlows Pros & Cons

CartFlows Pros

  • Integrates with WordPress
  • Huge range of WP plugins available
  • Integrates with WooCommerce
  • Is affordable
  • Is compatible with WordPress page builders
  • Can build an unlimited number of funnels
  • Also works like a shopping cart solution
  • Has an abandoned cart feature
  • Easy to use

CartFlows Cons

  • Membership funnels need an additional WP plugin
  • No A/B split testing (at present)
  • Lack of instruction videos

CartFlows FAQ’s

Who Is Behind CartFlows?

CartFlows was founded by Adam Preiser of WP Crafter and co-founded by Sujay Pawer of Brainstorm Force. He’s also the guy who created the famous Astra theme for WordPress.

They created it to provide an integrative funnel solution for WordPress users.

Personally, I have been a follower of the WP Crafter YouTube Channel for a few years now since Adam really knows his stuff. For me, this gives CartFlows much more credibility as a good integrative funnel solution for WordPress.

Can I use CartFlows With Shopify?

As far as I am aware, it does not integrate with other platforms like Shopify, only WordPress, and WooCommerce.

Which Payment Gateways Are Compatible With CartFlows?

CartFlows can integrate with the most popular payment gateways including PayPal, Stripe, Square, Amazon Pay, Auth.net, and any other payment gateway that is compatible with WooCommerce.

CartFlows – Parting Shot

If you’re a WordPress user in need of a sales funnel then CartFlows is definitely a good choice for you.

This new funnel builder plugin for WordPress very affordable and will enable you to build pretty much any kind of funnel you might need.

CartFlows comes with a few customizable templates you can use to speed up the build process.

The plugin is easy to use, however, if you’re not that familiar with WordPress then you may have a bit of a learning curve ahead of you. That being said, knowing how to create high converting funnels is a very important skill so it is worth taking a bit of time to get this skill down.

If you’re not quite sure yet if CartFlows is for you then you can also take it for a test drive with the free plugin.

One Funnel Away Challenge Review: Is It Right For You?

The OFA Challenge review featured image

If you’re looking to start a business online or you want to scale your existing business with sales funnels to increase your revenue then you may have come across the One Funnel Away Challenge.

The OFA Challenge has created a lot of talk online recently with quite a few people sharing the results they’ve gotten in a relatively short space of time.

However, not everyone has success when they go through the 30 Days Challenge.

So, why is that..?

There are several reasons, which I will share with you here in my One Funnel Away Challenge review.

Although I do honestly think it’s a great course, it is not for everyone, so please do read this article before you buy the OFA Challenge.

I also recommend you check out the FAQ’s at the bottom of this page.

What to know the next OFA Challenge start dates?

What Is The One Funnel Away Challenge?

The One Funnel Away Challenge is a 30-day step-by-step training program to help you to launch a successful business online.

In the training, the coaches give you detailed instructions from start to finish along with ready-made templates to help you get set up as quickly as possible.

The training focuses on these main areas:

  • How to find a niche that you will be able to make money in
  • How to quickly create your own products
  • How to craft an irresistible offer
  • How to build a funnel that converts visitors into buyers
  • How to establish and build your brand
  • How to get traffic to your funnel and start making money

If you don’t have or you don’t want to create your own products then you can also use the OFA Challenge for affiliate marketing and promote other people’s products as an affiliate.

You will need to follow along with the training and complete the missions each day so you don’t fall behind.

You can’t skip ahead as each mission will automatically unlock on a daily basis.

Personally, I like this approach as it has proven to work in getting more people to take action and get the tasks done. This makes it far more likely for a person to have success with the One Funnel Away Challenge.

You're just one funnel away

What Do You Get When You Sign Up For The OFA Challenge?

When you sign up for the Challenge you actually get a lot for your money.

When you buy the OFA Challenge, you get the following:

  • 30 Days Training With Russell and The Coaches
  • 30Days.com Summit Interviews
  • OFA Challenge Kit

What’s In The OFA Challenge Kit?

The One Funnel Away Challenge Kit is a box about the size of a large shoebox that will get shipped to your house.

Inside the box you get the following:

The One Funnel Away Challenge Workbook

The workbook is for you to use during each day of the Challenge. It contains the mission briefs and activity sections for you to fill out each day.

The 30Days.com Hardcover Book

The 30Days.com book is a large 541-page hardcopy book. It contains the exact strategies the top 30 2 Comma Club members have used to earn over $1M from a single funnel they built using ClickFunnels.

MP3 Player

The OFA Challenge MP3 player contains the recordings of each of the mission training over the 30 days.

The MP3 player is great if you need to refresh on the training. You can listen while you’re out shopping, working out, or doing your daily chores.

What Are The 30Days.com Summit Interviews?

When you join the One Funnel Away Challenge, you will get access to your member’s area, regardless if you have signed up early and the Challenge has not yet started.

Inside, you will see the 30Days.com Summit Interviews, which are interviews with 30 highly successful ClickFunnles entrepreneurs. These people have all made at least $1,000,000 through using a ClickFunnels funnel.

Each interviewee shares the strategies they would use if they had to do it all over again from scratch. The premise is, if you lost all your money, your reputation, your client base and your traffic sources, what would you do to earn everything back in 30 days?

During each interview, the entrepreneurs share the exact strategy they would use and show you the blueprint for the funnel they would set up to make it happen. That’s pretty awesome!

The OFA Challenge box
The One Funnel Away Challenge box

How Much Does The One Funnel Away Challenge Cost?

Right now, you can sign up for the OFA Challenge for just $100.

Personally, in my opinion, this is a crazy low price for the amount of value you get.

For example, I know people who have paid the $100 just because they wanted the 30Days.com book and other people who have joined just to get the summit interviews.

Having been through the training myself, I would say the core training of the Challenge alone is worth 10X the price you pay.

When Are The Next OFA Challenge Start Dates?

The OFA Challenge is not open to join at any time, but they do run it fairly frequently at the moment.

However, there has been talk that ClickFunnels may not continue to run the Challenge in the future.

So, if you’re interested in doing the Challenge then I highly recommend registering for the next event now.

You can check the next OFA Challenge start dates here:

What You Will Learn In The One Funnel Away Challenge

When you register for the One Funnel Away Challenge, besides having access to the summit interviews and the 30Days.com book, you will learn how to build a business from start to launch in 30 days.

The OFA Challenge cuts out all the crap you don’t need to know to get your business up and running and focuses on the core things to get to launch.

The training is broken down into different modules over  5 weeks. Here’s what you’ll learn during each week.

OFA Challenge Week 0: Pre-Training

The pre-training week module will be unlocked straight away, regardless if you sign up to the Challenge early and it hasn’t started yet.

The pre-training is focused on getting the right entrepreneur mindset in order to have success online.

While this module is definitely worth taking, I must warn you, the OFA Challenge pre-training is also a bit of a pitchfest for their height-ticket course, Funnel Builder Secrets.

While Funnel Builder Secrets is a great training package (I also bought it myself), you do not need it to achieve success with the OFA Challenge.

If, however, you do decide to upgrade and buy the Funnel builder Secrets package, you will get very detailed online marketing training for building and launching your own products. You will also get other advanced training programs and a considerable price reduction on your ClickFunnels subscription as well as access to the copywriting software program, Funnel Scripts.

If you want to know more about the Funnel Builder Secrets program then you can see the info and pricing here.

Now, Funnel Builder Secrets aside, when you first sign up for the OFA Challenge, all of the summit interviews will also be unlocked. So it’s well worth signing up for the Challenge early so you can have time to go through some of those interviews before the core training starts.

If you join the Challenge and don’t have time to watch the summit videos before then that’s no problem as you can also watch these any time you want since you’ll have lifetime access to them.

OFA Challenge pre training week

OFA Challenge Week 1:

During the first week of the training, Russell, Steve, and Julie first train you on how to choose a great niche that you will be able to make money in.

Then, Russell explains how you can spy on your competitors in the niche and discover exactly what they’re doing to have success, what kind of products they are promoting, how they’re putting their offers together, and how they’re getting their traffic.

Russell explains how you can create your products very quickly while Julie shows you over her shoulder, exactly how to do the steps.

You will learn how to get your logo and eCovers done to make your products look really professional.

OFA Challenge week one

OFA Challenge Week 2:

In week 2 you’ll learn all about creating on different platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, podcasts, and blogging.

Russell will teach you how to craft the backstory behind your brand, how to come up with compelling hooks that will hook people into your content and ultimately buy from you and how to put it all together in a way that people will find engaging.

OFA week two

OFA Challenge Week 3:

Week 3 is when you start to create your funnel.

Russell starts off by explaining the core funnel strategy so you understand how it all works.

Fortunately, you don’t have to build your funnel from scratch.

Russell gives you a massive shortcut by giving you 5 different funnel templates that are already set up for the training. All you need to do is pick the one you want to use and customize it as they show you.

Over the week, you’ll be setting up the squeeze page, the sales page, the OTO page (one time offer), and the member’s area. You’ll also be plugging in all the pieces of the product you made in the previous weeks.

OFA week three

OFA Challenge Week 4:

In the final week of the training you’ll be learning about the three different types of traffic and how to flood your funnel with highly targeted potential customers.

This is the week when you can actually start to make money with your funnel.

While a number of people have made sales with their funnel even before the 30 days Challenge has finished, most people do not.

For most, they then need to continue to drive traffic and build their audience over the following weeks and months and make tweaks to their funnel and offer.

The One Funnel Away Challenge final week

Who Are The OFA Challenge Coaches?

Now let’s meet the OFA Challenge coaches. You’ll have sessions with 3 top-level online marketers, each with their unique skill sets.

Russell Brunson

Russell Brunson is the brains behind ClickFunnels and is regarded by many as one of the most successful online entrepreneurs of our time.

He’s a master of marketing strategy, sales, conversions, and traffic.

Each day begins with training from Russell on the daily mission. He will give you the knowledge and understanding you need to build a successful business.

He’ll help you put all the pieces of the puzzle together so you can see how everything works.

Julie Stoian

Julie Stoian is a key figure in ClickFunnels and is the Vice-President of Marketing for the company. She’s a successful entrepreneur in her own right and a member of the famous 2 Comma Club.

In her training videos, Julie will show you the “how to’s” of Russell’s training. She will show you over her shoulder, how to complete the tasks for each day in a step-by-step process.

Stephen Larsen

Stephen Larsen, another 2 Comma Club members, is also a key figure in the ClickFunnels company.

When he first joined the company he sat next to Russell for 2 years and learned everything there is to know about funnel building and building an online business directly from the master himself.

In the Challenge, you will have daily coaching calls with Stephen to give you deeper insight into the day’s lessons and motivate you to stay on track.

He’s kind of a crazy guy, fun and full of energy. The OFA Challenge was my first introduction to Stephen and at first, I thought, “who is this crazy guy..?!” But when he shares his insights, man, I was really surprised at the depth of knowledge and understanding this guy has.

Some of the things he shares are also profound. I had several light bulb moments listening to Stephen.

Who Is The OFA Challenge For?

I’m gonna warn you now, the OFA Challenge is not for everyone.

If you want to build an online business around any of the following models then the OFA Challenge is for you:

  • Creating your own digital products
  • Selling physical products
  • Selling services such as coaching and consulting
  • Promoting other people’s products as an affiliate

You also need to be prepared to put in the time and effort to do the work and not expect to be a millionaire overnight.

Who The OFA Challenge Is NOT For

If you’re looking for a push-button system that requires little or no effort on your part (they don’t exist by the way) then do not join the OFA Challenge, it’s not for you.

If you are expecting to build a successful business without investing time and money into your business and your own education then it is not for you.

If you think the coaches will do everything for you then the Challenge is not for you.

Is The Challenge Doable In 30 Days?

When I first signed up for the Challenge I was under the impression that I’d need to spare about 1 hour a day, maybe 2hrs tops on some days.

But this wasn’t the case….

I can’t remember where I got that idea from, but it seemed that a lot of other people in the OFA Challenge Facebook group also thought the same thing.

The reality is different, though.

On most days, it will take you at least an hour just to watch the daily videos, including Stephen’s webinar coaching call.

You then gotta do the tasks.

There are some days where the tasks won’t take you hardly any time at all. On other days, tasks may take you an hour or two to complete.

If you’re creating your own products then you will also need to spread out the time needed to do that over several weeks.

If you’ve got some money to pay people to do some tasks for you (as Russell shows) then that’s great, you’ll get them done a lot quicker.

Alternatively, instead of spending money, you can spend your time doing all the tasks yourself.

When it comes to the weekends, it’s also important to realize that there will be additional tasks on some of them, but not all.

There are also some weekends that Russell has reserved to give you a couple of extra catch up days in case you need extra time to watch the training and do tasks.

If you’re gonna do the Challenge then I highly recommend keeping your diary as clear as possible for those 30 days.

If you wanna give yourself the best chance you can to have success then it’s best to schedule weekends away or plans with friends and family for the next month.

So, is the OFA Challenge doable in 30 days? Yes, but you’ll need to focus and commit to it for the 30 day period.

If you’ve already got a business up and running and you already have products then you’ll already be halfway along. If you’re creating a business from scratch then you’ll need more time to create or find assets to sell.

Why I Signed Up For The Challenge

The Challenge can help you to build all kinds of businesses.

It doesn’t matter if you want to create your own digital products, sell other peoples as an affiliate, generate leads for a traditional business like real estate, build an MLM, sell a service or operate a dropship model.

However, it seems that most people join to sell their own products.

For me, I didn’t have my own product at the time as my main business model is affiliate marketing.

I signed up because I was interested in expanding my marketing knowledge and wanted to see if there were more effective strategies I could learn that would help me as an affiliate. I also wanted the bonuses and was very curious to see what the training was all about.

The cost of the Challenge is so low and I could see straight away that the bonuses alone are worth way more than the $100 they charge to take the Challenge.

What I Like About The Challenge

There are loads of great things about the Challenge. What I like best about it is the way it is structured really makes you focus and get stuff done.

So many people have an idea to build a business and are proactive for a few weeks or maybe a few months, but then they lose focus and give up.

It’s also very common that entrepreneurs spend months and sometimes even years, trying to build their business but focus on the wrong tasks that lead down dead ends.

Russell, Julie and Stephen keep you focused every day on the exact tasks you need to complete to give you the best chance of success.

What I Don’t Like About The Challenge

There’s really so much in the course that 30 days seems a bit rushed. Personally, I think it would be better to charge a higher price for entry and spread the Challenge over 45 days.

While many people do complete the Challenge and have success on their first go, some people fall behind in the tasks or get distracted by other things so extra time could be helpful.

On the flip side, since the One Funnel Away Challenge price is so low many people do it 2 or even 3 times to either complete the steps they didn’t get to or to launch a whole new business.

After all, if you needed to take the Challenge a second time to get everything completed and launched, is $200 really large investment?

While $200 will, of course, mean different things to different people, it is not a lot of money to invest to launch a business.
