In this ClickFunnels 2.0 review, I’ll be going over every aspect of this new version. I’ll tell you about the good points, as well as the not-so-good aspects of this new platform.

ClickFunnels 2.0 is not just an upgraded version of 1.0. It’s actually a completely new software program, built from the ground up. The new 2.0 version uses new and different software from ClickFunnels 1.0 and comes with lots of new features.

But is the new ClickFunnels 2.0 all it’s cracked up to be, and it is worth your time and investment?

Here I reveal everything you need to know about ClickFunnels 2.0.

Let’s get to it!

ClickFunnels 2.0 Summary

ClickFunnels 2.0 is the newest version. Now with even more features, ClickFunnels can safely call itself an all-in-one marketing tool.

While they don’t include absolutely every feature you could possibly imagine, ClickFunnels 2.0 does have the core features that an online business needs. For some, this will be enough. For others, it will still leave them wanting more.

Either way, ClickFunnels 2.0 is a massive improvement on ClickFunnels 1.0.

At the moment, the only way to gain access to ClickFunnels 2.0 is via one of the special offers on this page here.

When is ClickFunnels 2.0 being released?

The new ClickFunnels 2.0 version will be released on 4th October 2022.

The launch party for ClickFunnels 2.0 will be a part of Russell Brunson’s newest challenge.

This new challenge is called, Your First Funnel Challenge, and is completely free to join. The challenge takes place over 5 days and takes you from start to finish in setting up your first sales funnel, crafting your sales pitch, and driving traffic to your funnel to make sales.

As part of this new challenge, you get 30 days of free access to ClickFunnels 2.0. ClickFunnels CEO Russell Brunson also walks you through how to use the new software step-by-step to get you set up as quickly as possible.

ClickFunnels 2.0 Review

If you’re an online marketer, then you probably already know that ClickFunnels is the most popular sales funnel builder in the market.

Since it first launched back in 2014, ClickFunnels has grown a huge following and maintained the number one position as the best sales funnel tool.

The brains behind ClickFunnels is Russell Brunson, who first created the software for private use in his own business. However, once he saw the potential of the platform, he partnered with Todd Dickerson to scale up the use of ClickFunnels and bring it to the public.

Over the years, technology in general has evolved quite rapidly. Therefore, Russell Brunson and Todd Dickerson felt that ClickFunnels needed a complete overhaul to improve it even further.

With that in mind, they have created ClickFunnels 2.0 using the latest software technology, improved upon the features, added new features, and made it overall a lot easier to use.

So, let’s get into what’s new with ClickFunnels 2.0!

What Is ClickFunnels 2.0

ClickFunnels 2.0 is a complete rebuild of the original ClickFunnel 1.0 (a.k.a ClickFunnels Classic) platform. This new version comes with a lot more features and is designed to be used as an all-in-one platform and online marketing solution.

In addition to funnel building, you’ll find a blogging feature, email automation, landing page creation, an affiliate management dashboard, and much more.

Here’s an overview of what you can expect from this new software:

  • Funnel builder
  • Blog builder
  • Membership site builder
  • eCommerce site builder
  • Visual automation builder
  • A/B testing
  • Funnel flows
  • CRM
  • Collaborate with teams
  • Simultaneous page editing
  • Analytics in real time

How Does ClickFunnels 2.0 Work?

Even though ClickFunnels’ main purpose is to build sales funnels, ClickFunnels 2.0 is now more of an all-in-one marketing platform.

The aim is to have one tool to run all the most important aspects of your business. This includes sales funnels, a blog, a private members area, email marketing, automation, and the ability to track all your analytics and data in real-time.

Now with even more flexibility, ClickFunnels 2.0 gives you the ability to invite team members to work on your business, and even the ability for team members and yourself to make simultaneous edits to your pages when needed.

Why I Decided To Use ClickFunnels 2.0

ClickFunnels is probably the most well-known SaaS platform in the online marketing space. There are so many people waiting on the newest version of ClickFunnels, that I wanted to also see what the hype was all about.

Having been a ClickFunnels 1.0 user myself, I’m very familiar with the software. So, I’m in a unique position to dissect the new ClickFunnels 2.0, compare it to ClickFunnels 1.0, and share my views with you here on my blog.

I am also interested to qualify for the 2 Comma Club award one day. This is a ClickFunnels award that entrepreneurs can win once they have made over $1M in a single funnel built on the ClickFunnels platform.

ClickFunnels 2.0 vs ClickFunnels 1.0

ClickFunnels 2.0 is the latest version of the popular platform. However, the new version is not just an updated version of ClickFunnels 1.0. ClickFunnels 2.0 is a completely new software platform that’s been built from scratch.

It’s been a long time in the making, but ClickFunnels 2.0 is now live and operational and is a much-improved version of ClickFunnels 1.0.

Overall, ClickFunnels 2.0 is more of an all-in-one platform as it gives you the most essential tools for running an online business. The focus is still on sales funnels as it was with the 1.0 version, but now you get extra features and a superior experience.

Here’s what ClickFunnels 2.0 has over ClickFunnels 1.0:

  • Blogging platform (new feature)
  • Build full eCommerce stores (new feature)
  • Visual automation builder (new feature)
  • CRM (new feature)
  • Universal elements (improves speed and productivity)
  • Real-time analytics (helps you with research, productivity, and conversions)
  • Global products (improved work speed and productivity)
  • Faster page load speeds (improves sales and conversions)
  • Team collaboration (improved work speed and productivity)
  • Simultaneous editing (improved work speed and productivity)
  • Smoother integration with WordPress
  • 30 day trial instead of 14 days

ClickFunnels 2.0 Features

Now let’s take a look at the features you can expect to find in the new ClickFunnels 2.0.

Funnel Hub

The Funnel Hub is one of the new features available for ClickFunnels 2.0 customers. This tool is essentially your dashboard and serves as the “backend” of your business. It allows you to build and manage all of your pages, blogs, members areas, email lists, customers, etc, all from one convenient place.

funnel hub

I found the ClickFunnels Funnel Hub to be a useful tool and easy to navigate. It makes your life a lot easier to be able to quickly navigate to features all from one place.

Visual Automation Builder

ClickFunnels 2.0 offers even more automation features. One of the most important ones is the Visual Automation Builder. This tool helps you design and set up automated flows within your funnels. You can use it to create visual workflows that are simple enough for anyone to understand.

The builder gives you access to a range of options, including conditional logic that enables you to change what happens next depending on whether someone fills out a form, buys something, signs up for a trial, etc.

Moreover, you can apply multiple actions to each step of the process. For example, you could send an email to someone once he completes a particular task. Or you could automatically add items to his shopping cart without having him go back to the checkout page.

You can also use the builder to perform A/B testing. If you want to see which version of a landing page converts better, just compare the two versions and choose the best option once the test is complete.

Of course, you don’t have to stop there. You can also create multiple variations of the same page and run A/B tests to find out which performs better.

Universal Elements

ClickFunnels has a good range of useful elements. Unfortunately, with the ClickFunnels 1.0 version, you needed to rebuild the same elements over and over again for each page. For example, elements like headers, footers, buttons, and menu bars would need to be rebuilt each time you set up a new page.

So, with ClickFunnels 2.0 the Universal Elements feature will save you a lot of wasted time repeating the same build process of these elements. you can now create them once, and save them to use again and again on multiple pages.

In my opinion, this is a feature that should have been available in ClickFunnels 1.0, but for some reason, it wasn’t. I’m just glad they’ve now added it to ClickFunnels 2.0 because this will be a big time-saver.

Page editor

Blog Builder

ClickFunnels 1.0 was missing a blogging feature, which was a huge letdown for the 1.0 version. Fortunately, Russell and Todd have recognized this fact and baked in a blogging platform to ClickFunnels 2.0.

The ClickFunnels blogging platform has been designed with SEO in mind, so it should rank well in Google and other search engines.

I know that page load speed will be a big concern for people here since a big gripe that ClickFunnels 1.0 users had was how slow the pages used to load.

Fortunately, this problem has now been taken care of with ClickFunnels 2.0, which extends to sales funnels, membership sites, and a blog made with the new software.

This feature will save business owners a lot of time and money otherwise needing to run a separate blog on a platform like WordPress.

ClickFunnels blog builder

Membership Site Builder

The ClickFunnels 2.0 membership site builder is one of my favorite features and a must-have for course creators.

The new version of ClickFunnels allows you to quickly and easily design and launch beautiful membership sites, giving you that professional look.

The membership sites you can build with Clickfunnels 2.0 are more advanced than what you used to be able to build with ClickFunnesl 1.0, so this will undoubtedly please course creators and digital product sellers.

A/B Testing

A/B testing was a prominent feature of ClickFunnels 1.0, and it worked great. I am very pleased to see that this feature is also included in ClickFunnels 2.0.

A/B split testing is easy to set up in ClickFunnels. All you need to do is create two different versions of your website or sales page by clicking a button to duplicate your page. You then make one change to one of your landing pages and then select how much traffic you want ClickFunnels to send to each page variation using A/B testing tools.

You can even use the same content for both variations, but change the headline, images, colors, etc.

At the end of the designated testing time period, ClickFunnels will highlight the page which performed the best and continue sending all traffic to the more successful page.

Real-Time Analytics & Stats

ClickFunnels 2.0 includes real-time analytics, funnel stats, and conversion tracking.

With these tools, you can easily identify which parts of your funnel aren’t performing as expected. For example, if you notice that one part of your funnel isn’t converting like others, you can quickly find out why by looking at funnel stats.

In addition, you can use funnel stats to figure out where to focus your efforts. Maybe one section of your funnel isn’t doing well. Or maybe there’s something wrong with the copy or design of the page itself. By analyzing funnel stats, we can see exactly what needs to change, and where to focus more of our efforts.

The Live View feature lets us check how visitors interact with our funnel pages. If you’re having trouble getting people to convert, you can watch traffic flow into each step and learn how best to tweak things to increase conversions. You can even look at the stats in real-time via the “Live View”, which we think is really cool.

Real time funnel analytics

Customer Center

ClickFunnels 2.0 has added a feature called “Customer Center.” With it, you can easily manage every aspect of your customer’s experience with your brand — from payments to course enrollments to product purchases.

The Customer Center allows you to collect data on each of your customers, such as how many people are signing up for your email list, what products they bought, and how much money they’ve spent with your brand.

You can use this information to make decisions like whether to offer additional discounts or promotions or to determine whether to continue offering certain products.

In addition, you can view sales reports and track conversions. For example, you might want to know whether your most popular products are being purchased frequently enough to justify keeping them in stock.

Finally, you can send emails to your customers directly from the Customer Center. When someone buys something, you’ll receive an email notification letting you know.

This feature makes it easier to keep tabs on your customers and to communicate with them. It also gives you more opportunities to encourage upselling.

Customer center

Global Products

The new global products feature of ClickFunnels 2.0 allows you to sell your products across multiple funnels in your account.

Your ClickFunnels 2.0 account remembers what products you have, and gives you the option to sell them again either as front-end products or as upsell/down-sell or order bump products in different funnels.

This feature makes it easier for you to set up new funnels, and sell and manage all your products.

eCommerce Site Builder

ClickFunnels 2.0 now includes a powerful eCommerce site builder. This allows you to easily create a full-blown online storefront within ClickFunnels.

This is a surprisingly good feature of ClickFunnels 2.0 that can now directly compete with eCommerce platforms like Shopify and BigCommerce.

With the new eCommerce site builder feature, you can host a full range of physical products and sell them easily through an easy-to-use and intuitive shopping cart. Not only this, but you can also add a customer login function to make it easy for your customers to manage their purchases.

What I particularly like about this new eCommerce site builder is that you can also create powerful sales funnels with upsells, downsells, and order bumps to help you sell your products. This, in my opinion, now beats the Shopify solution.

When it comes to checkouts, you can now also use both pre and post-checkout forms, and set a range of conditions to help you sell more.

if eCommerce is your business model, then you; ‘ll also be pleased to hear that eCommerce sites built with ClickFunnels 2.0 are also fully mobile-optimized to be user-friendly on all devices. This, of course, also includes mobile phones.

ClickFunnels 2.0 Benefits

Here are the benefits of using the new ClickFunnels 2.0 platform:

Faster Page Load Times

While ClickFunnels 1.0 was great, one of the biggest issues that we and other ClickFunnels users were facing was page load speed. Version 1.0 just loaded so damn slow, so the new competitors in the market were outperforming ClickFunnels in this area.

Fortunately, slow page load times are now a thing of the past. ClickFunnels 2.0 loads considerably faster than 1.0. ClickFunnels founders Russell and Todd even say that the new version of ClickFunnels loads even faster than all other alternative platforms including Kartra, GrooveFunnels, Shopify, Keap, Kajabi, SamCart, and others.

While we haven’t tested the page load speeds of ClickFunnels 2.0 compared to all the competitors yet (there are a lot of them), we can tell that our funnel pages in ClickFunnels 2.0 do load nicely and fast.

I set up a page in ClickFunnels 2.0, published it, and then ran a speed test using GTmetrix. Here are the results of my test below:

Page speed test with GTmetrix

As you can see, the overall speed of this page achieved an ‘A’ grade according to GTmetrix. Of course, your page load speed will also be impacted by different elements that you have on your page, the size of your images, etc.

Team Collaboration and Simultaneous Editing

The team collaboration feature in ClickFunnels 2.0 gives you the ability to assign permissions to specific members of your team, allowing them to edit certain pages while keeping others locked down.

This way, you can let your marketing team build your landing pages while giving your customer success team access to the CRM so they can help customers resolve any issues.

Simultaneous page editing allows multiple editors to work simultaneously on the same page or funnel. This makes it easy to collaborate on webpages, emails, membership sites, blog posts, etc., without worrying about conflicts or unsaved work.

I ran a test on this feature with a team member and we found that it works pretty well. This feature will certainly make it easier for you to run your business and improve team productivity.

Easy To Use

One of the biggest changes in the latest version of ClickFunnels 2.0 is that it is now easier to navigate.

You’ll find everything you need to set up your account, manage contacts, design templates, build landing pages, add products, track conversions, etc, all from your Funnel Hub.

But even though there are some improvements, the core functionality isn’t really changed. If you’re familiar with the original ClickFunnels, you won’t feel lost, which I think is a good thing.

The editor is now even easier to use and works smoothly, which I find is now even more enjoyable to work with.

ClickFunnels WordPress plugin

If you already have a WordPress website and you want to integrate your ClickFunnels 2.0 sales funnels and landing pages with your site, then you can do this easily with the ClickFunnels WordPress plugin.

All you need to do is install the ClickFunnels WordPress plugin on your site, and connect it to your ClickFunnels account. You’ll then be able to display any of your sales funnels and landing pages on your WordPress website.

ClickFunnels 2.0 Pricing: How Much Will It Cost?

With the new ClickFunnels 2.0 pricing model, you now have three different ways to purchase ClickFunnels, and you can choose to pay monthly, or annually.

If you want to try out the software without committing to anything, you can do that too with a generous 30 day trial (see more info below).

There are no contracts involved when you buy ClickFunnels 2.0, just payment plans:

  • Basic Plan – $147 per month
  • Pro Plan – $197 per month
  • Funnel Hacker Plan – $297 or $497 per month

At the moment, you can get free access to Clickfunnels 2.0 when you take either of the Funnel Builder Special offers on this page.

ClickFunnels 2.0 Annual Pricing Plans

If you know you’re going to be using the ClickFunnels 2.0 software for the long term, then you can save a lot of money if you choose one of the annual pricing plans.

Here are the ClickFunnels 2.0 annual pricing plans:

  • Basic Plan – $127 per month ($20 saving per month, $240 saving per year)
  • Pro Plan – $157 per month ($40 saving per month, $480 saving per year)
  • Funnel Hacker Plan – $208 or $497 per month ($89 saving per month, $1,068 saving per year)

ClickFunnels 2.0 30 Day Free Trial

With ClickFunnels 2.0 you get double the free trial period that you used to get with ClickFunnels 1.0. At the moment, I’m not sure if the ClickFunnels 2.0 30 day free trial is temporary, or if it is here to stay.

ClickFunnels may decide to reduce the free trial period to 14 days after the promotional period, but that is still yet to be seen. For the moment, however, you can get a full 30 day trial of ClickFunnels 2.0 completely free, so I recommend you sign up now for a free trial in order to benefit from this free trial extension.

When you sign up for the free trial, you will need to enter your credit card information. However, you will not be charged anything at all until after 30 days. If you decide that ClickFunnels 2.0 is not for you and you cancel your account within the 30 day free trial window, then you will not pay anything at all.

Canceling your account before the free trial finishes are easy. All you need to do is log in to your ClickFunnels dashboard and navigate to the billing tab in the menu bar on the left of your dashboard.

Then, scroll down to the section titled, ‘Subscription Orders’, and click the ‘cancel’ icon.

Cancel subscription page

If you do this within the 30 day free trial period, then you will not be charged anything. If you decide that you love ClickFunnels and you want o keep using it, then you don’t need to do anything. ClickFunnels will start to bill you monthly or annually for the plan you selected.

ClickFunnels 2.0 Discount & Coupon Codes?

So, is there a ClickFunnels 2.0 discount, or coupon code?

At the moment, there are no direct discount codes for ClickFunnels 2.0. This new software has just launched and so they are offering an extended free trial.

In the future, they may offer a ClickFunnels 2.0 discount, but I have never known them to offer a discount or coupon code for their software platform alone.

One direct discount that is available now is the reduced pricing plans for annual billing that I just discussed above.

There are some more discounts for ClickFunnels here. Some of these discounts and special offers also include free access to the ClickFunnels 1.0 platform. The company may choose to replace this with access to the 2.0 version, but for now, this has not changed yet.

ClickFunnels 2.0 Pros & Cons

Of course, no software program out there is perfect, they all have their good points and bad points. So, here are the ClickFunnels 2.0 pros and cons:

Pros
  • Updated to the latest software
  • Easy to use
  • Includes a blog builder
  • Includes a full eCommerce store builder
  • Includes a visual automation builder
  • Includes a CRM
  • Simultaneous page editing
  • Real-time analytics
Cons
  • Does not come with FunnelFlix
  • No webinar feature
  • Is expensive

Some of these pros and cons will mean different things for different people. For some, they will be no big deal, and for others, they may be deal-breakers.

Final Thoughts On ClickFunnels 2.0

As you can see from my ClickFunnels 2.0 review, this new version of ClickFunnels is a huge improvement on ClickFunnels 1.0.

Does ClickFunnels 2.0 contain every feature and tool that you will possibly need to use in your business? No, but it does certainly have all the core features that most businesses will need.

For some, these features will be all they need. And for others who need a little more, ClickFunnels 2.0 smoothly integrates with most other software tools out there, so it’s no big issue.

Overall, I like ClickFunnels 2.0, and I find it smooth and easy to use. However, it is quite expensive. This is a shame because this means that the platform will be just too expensive for a lot of businesses to use.

However, there are discounts available for those who opt for annual billing. And if this is still too expensive for you, then you still have the option to use the ClickFunnels 1.0 version at the cheaper price of $97 per month.
